No better than V3. Motion detection masking still doesn't work. Detects motion on stationary parked car in drive. Stay with v3 until improvements are made.
Camera quality isn't any better then then the 2k camera I had. I also hate that it doesn't automatically go to the 4K every time it goes to auto
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi there, we're sorry to hear about your experience with the Wyze Cam Pan v4. Let us help you improve your camera's performance and address your concerns:
Improving Image Quality 1. Adjust Camera Resolution: From the camera’s live stream, tap the resolution icon to toggle between modes. We recommend setting it to 4K resolution for the best image quality.
2. Night Vision Mode Adjustment: Navigate to the camera’s settings > Advanced Settings. Cycle through Auto, On, and Off for Night Vision Mode. We recommend setting it to Auto for optimal performance in varying lighting conditions.
Resolution Default Behavior Currently, the Wyze Cam Pan v4 does not automatically default to 4K resolution when set to "Auto." We understand how this can be frustrating, and we appreciate your feedback. We'll make sure to pass this along to our team for consideration in future updates.
If you need further assistance or have additional concerns, feel free to reach out!
4k video is very clear and bright. Equally good at night. So far, I like it. Put 512gb card in it and have recorded continuously for the past 20 days. Still have about a 1/4 of storage left. Had a couple of connection drop issues, but firmware updates will probably fix that.
The camera seems to have died after 2 months of use. Won’t power up at all. It simply stopped working. Guess I’ll be filing a warranty claim. Still giving 2 stars because I believe Wyze will honor its commitment. I have a number of other Wyze cameras that have worked fine for a long time.

I have owned Wyze cams for a while. this is the worst camera. the tracking is completely useless. it is always pointing down. The panning feature is too fast. it misses every important event. literally no point to this camera. It seems like it always needs to be recalibrated. honestly complete garbage. the image quality is nice ish. so buyer be ware. It is so bad that honestly think I am going to take down most of my wyze cams because they just draw power with no benefit. I loved ways for years. oh well

Hi there! We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience with the Wyze Cam Pan v4. We understand how frustrating it can be when a product doesn’t meet expectations, especially when you’ve been a loyal Wyze user for years. Let us help you troubleshoot the issues you’re facing with the camera’s tracking and panning features. Here are some steps you can try to improve its performance:
Troubleshooting Steps for Tracking and Panning Issues 1. Update the Wyze App and Firmware: Ensure your Wyze app is up to date. You can check this under the Account tab > About. Verify that the camera’s firmware is updated by navigating to Account > Firmware Update.
2. Enable Smart Track: Under the camera’s live stream, swipe left/right on the toolbar to find Smart Track. Tap to turn it on (the icon will turn green when enabled).
3. Adjust Pan Controls: Go to the camera’s settings and tap Pan Controls. Under Manual Pan-Tilt Speed, adjust the slider bar to Slow and gradually increase the speed to find a suitable setting. Calibrate the camera by tapping Calibrate Position under Pan Controls.
4. Turn Off Pan Scan and Detection Zone: Disable Pan Scan by swiping left/right on the toolbar under the live stream and tapping the icon (it will turn grey when off). In the camera’s settings, go to Detection Settings > Detection Zone and toggle it off.
5. Adjust Sensitivity: In Detection Settings, adjust the Motion Sensitivity slider to a lower level and gradually increase it to find the optimal setting.
6. Power Cycle the Camera: Unplug the camera from its power source for 5-10 seconds, then plug it back in.
7. Factory Reset: If the issues persist, you can factory reset the camera. Remove any microSD card, press and hold the setup button on the bottom of the camera for 10-20 seconds until the status light turns solid red, and then set it up as new.
We hope these steps help improve your experience with the Wyze Cam Pan v4. If the issues persist, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team for further assistance. We value your feedback and are committed to improving our products.
Best image quality yet! Smooth pans, great night vision! Vast improvement over the V3. WYZE engineers are working on fixing a bug where it detects motion on parked cars as it pans.
