Wanted to like this, as it looks better than past versions. But this camera frequently disconnects from wireless and have to manually reset it. This camera when it works is fine, but it's too unreliable for me

The 4k resolution is nice, and the night vision is OK if there is light or IR, but the pan&tilt operation and connection reliability - despite 3 bars on the WiFi - are problematic. The pan&tilt does not return to home position accurately despite multiple 'calibrations'. Notification videos frequently cannot be retrieved. The camera sometimes freezes to black while looking at the video stream. And the pan&tilt operation without using the widget is very difficult, such as while looking at the video stream in full screen.

The siren on my Wyze Cam Pan v4 isn’t functioning, and the camera frequently shifts from its set position, tilting upward by roughly 15–20 degrees on its own. Every time I check it, I have to readjust its position manually. I’ve gone through all the settings to try to fix the issue, but nothing works.
I also own three Wyze Cam Pan v3 cameras, only one still has a working motor, while the other two are completely frozen. Wyze really needs to improve the motor quality, connectivity, and move up to 24fps performance if they want this product to truly shine, because right now, it falls short.
I was also disappointed in the rollout, it would’ve been nice to receive an email announcing the release of a product I had been "eagerly" anticipating, but instead, I found out by accident. I’ve loved the earlier versions of the camera, but while the newer models have made some nice improvements, they’ve declined in overall quality, especially in the motors.
I’d gladly pay more if these issues were addressed and improvements implemented. Until then, I’m holding off on upgrading my other eight Wyze cams. It’s better to build one product right than to produce twenty others that are half-baked and that’s exactly what seems to be happening here. I am very disappointed with this product.

To start the camera has been drove past 4 times by me since setup and not triggered a motion event for them yet, who knows if any other vehicles have been past. The spot light has yet to come on at night with motion events even though I have double checked to be sure that feature was activated in settings. The picture quality on events is at best 2k not 4k as advertised. So far severely disappointed with this camera.

1. Motion Events Not Triggering Here are some steps to ensure motion events are being recorded: Update the Wyze App and Firmware:
Go to the Account tab in the Wyze app > About to check your app version. Compare it with the latest version listed on our Release Notes & Firmware page. Update if necessary. Check the camera’s firmware under Account > Firmware Update and update if available.
Enable Motion Detection: Navigate to the camera’s settings > Event Recording. Enable Motion and select All Events. Tap Customize Detections and ensure the Tag and Notify columns are checked for Other Motion.
Adjust Detection Settings: Go to Detection Settings in the camera’s settings. Set Motion Sensitivity to High. Disable the Detection Zone temporarily for testing.
Check Notifications: Ensure notifications are enabled in the camera’s settings under Notifications. Also, enable Push Notifications in the Wyze app under Account > Notifications.
Power Cycle the Camera: Unplug the camera for 5-10 seconds and plug it back in.

I have 11 Wyze camera but the Wyze Cam Pan v4 was not able to connect to my wifi for some reason, so I returned the item.
