Exceeded Expectations

I ordered mine when the preorders first became available. Since my pair first arrived in the mail, I could not have been more pleased with them. Very easy to set-up and sync to my devices. Very easy to turn on and use. Plus, the audio is beyond superb. The drums (especially the snare) and in particular the bass, are especially fabulous. Was quite nervous about spending this much money (plus the one year warranty). But it has definitely been worth it. Would recommend these to anyone with the resources needed to purchase.

My Third Bose Headphones, Pretty Much Flawless!

Okay, Bose, you've done it again. As a proud owner of my THIRD pair of Bose noise-cancelling headphones. I can confidently say the QuietComfort Ultra 2nd Gen is the best one yet.
I don’t like anything on my head and wearing these headphones felt like almost nothing on my head. I've worn them to the gym and often forget to take them off.
Noise cancellation: The ANC is simply phenomenal. It erases the low rumble of fishing boat engines, the leaf blower noise, and of course, chatter at the airport. The "Aware Mode" is also brilliant, letting in ambient sound naturally when you need to be conscious of your surroundings.
Sound & Call Quality: Let me be clear-SUPERB. My music is rich, full of bass and rhythm. My new headphones give me that complete sound immersion.
My one criticism: I am a very active person and should not have gotten the white headphones, although they look absolutely slick (for me) only about a week. They're a little high-maintenance, for a guy who is at the gym 5-6 days/week, working in the yard almost daily, traveling or fishing as often as time permits. Maybe go for a darker color unless you, unlike me, have a less active lifestyle.
At the end of the day, I give these headphones a 5/5 rating. If you're on the fence, jump off and run towards these. Your ears (and your sanity) will thank you.

The Best Headphones

I got these two days ago and the headphones are amazing. The noise cancellation is really effective with a rich sound quality. Not to mention the superior comfort and light weight. Overall these headphones are really solid in every area.

Excellent noise cancelling!

These have the best noise cancelling I've ever heard from a pair of Bose headphones. A friend was right in front of me in my home talking to me and I couldn't hear her at all. She didn't like that, but it did help me stay on task with my work! An apology was later made :)
Of course, they perform excellent as always on humming sounds like HVACs or airplanes.
I use these daily for professional Zoom calls and listening to music.
I buy nearly every generation of flagship Bose headphones, though I missed the 1st gen Ultra QC and I am coming to these from the Bose 700s, my all-time favorites. I enjoy how much less heavy these are than the than the 700s, though I do find the cushions somewhat less comfortable on my head.
On the downside, I was hoping for more noticeable improvements from the 700s. To my ears, they don't sound much different. This means they are still great headphones, but I'm not sure how much of a step-forward these really are from my covid era cans.
I would appreciate having a way to control the EQ from my desktop computer rather than having to rely on the phone app. It would also help to be able to digitally add reverb to the voices of whoever I'm talking to so I could hear them better.

Updated software & firmware to pair with new Ultra Gen 2, with button functionality improvements. Much more comfortable to wear on larger head than all prior iterations. This generation is great. Feels sound is a bit improved also.
This generation you can take calls & the wind issues on prior iterations is also gone. Phone calls are PERFECTLY clear even with some wind.

Bought them this month and have experienced all aspects of the headphones to maximize on my preferences for music, podcasts, audio books, online meetings with adjustable noise cancellation etc. I’m hearing music really in depth. A software update to manipulate more the EQ features would be a great addition.
