I am delighted with my new QuietComfort Ultra headphones! This new model is vastly superior to my QC35's in every way (And I love my QC35's)!. For starters, the case is elegant, the headphones feel elegant to hold and fit wonderfully - the seal around the ear is very effective which enables the new audio features to shine. The sound quality is excellent!! The immersive audio modes allow you to quickly change the headphones to suit your needs. The controls are intuitive and easy to operate. Lastly, the Bluetooth connectivity is fantastic. The QC Ultra's seamlessly juggle connections from iPhone to iPad to Peloton to PC. Well done Bose!!!

Just do it! The Quiet mode is actually good enough to cancel out the rain on the roof. My Plantronics U8000 wouldn't do that. If my new Bose last as long as them, I'll have them for many years to come. Movies and music are great! Phone calls are just ridiculous; I can hear chairs squeaking, papers shuffling and air conditioning running. They have all the features I've been used to for years but better. Very comfortable to wear all day, grip pressure is just right without being too tight/loose. Multi-function button is something I'm used to so no problems there. Perfect for video editing and the Desert Gold looks great! Thank you Dr. Bose! Your legacy is thriving...

I currently own the generation 1 version of the Quietcomfort Ultra headphones and can honestly say generation 2 improves on the already stellar audio quality, functionality and design. I really like the new Cinema mode as it gives a different depth of audio for movies that I didn’t know I needed. The shiny design just adds to the premium feel of the build. The battery life I can tell has improved as well and I like not having to charge so often.

These headphones are fantastic in many ways, so I’ll list just a few highlights here.
1. they're comfortable - fitting over the ear without bending it in any way.
2. The range of sound production - while it might throw some people off at first it mimics moving through music incredibly well and is crystal clear even on lower levels.
3. Noise cancellation - very effective, even in loud machine shops! When it’s turned off, however, you can hear around you very well which is ideal for situations where you’d want to be more aware of your surroundings.
4. The battery life is very solid - after 2 weeks of near daily use I’ve charged them maybe 3 times? I also like that they tell you how much battery they have left when you put them on.

I love three new, simple features:
1). No more wretched micro USB jack! Love the non-polarized USB-C charging jack
2) Love it when they shut off when I take them off for an hour, or for the night. They don't use up the battery charge any more!
3). Slick touch-slide volume control. 1 less button to fool with.

I bought the desert gold ultra 3 weeks ago to replace my old QC15 headphones and wow! Classy look and classy performance, an amazing difference to the old and I considered the QC15’s great. The Bluetooth is great, seamless connection - no more wires and they sound amazing, the noise cancellation is next level. Makes a 5.5 hour flight a whole more comfortable. They are also the most comfortable, lightweight, and glasses friendly clamping pressure I’ve tried. If I get as much value out of these as I did the old ones it will cement my loyalty to Bose for a lifetime!

Amazing ANC

I've bought the Bose QC Ultra 2nd Gen after almost 4 years of owning different brand headphones. Honestly, I bought these expecting nothing but I've been surprised by the effectiveness of the ANC and the rich audio.
