There are a few things you can try should there be an issue with connecting to your chime box. Confirm that the chime box is connected to power and that the breaker is on. Turn off power to the doorbell, remove it from the mounting bracket, and check the wire connections. Ensure the wires are tightly secured and that no plastic insulation is caught under the screws. If the incorrect chime was selected, change the selection in device settings for chime. We appreciate your feedback and will be shared with our team. I’m not handy at all and I did it myself. Very easy install and I love the integration to the rest of my cameras and garage door opener. The best part of it all is, with the wired install I don’t have to charge like I used to with my previous doorbell battery camera. Camera resolution is good!

Installation of the MyQ Video Doorbell was straight forward and easy. It connected to my WiFi network with no issues, and now is running off of the doorbell ringer transformer in the house, so the battery stays at 100% charged. Video quality is excellent and the wide-angle lens provides a full view of my front door and yard. Excellent product and great value for the money!!!
