Installation of the MyQ Video Doorbell was straight forward and easy. It connected to my WiFi network with no issues, and now is running off of the doorbell ringer transformer in the house, so the battery stays at 100% charged. Video quality is excellent and the wide-angle lens provides a full view of my front door and yard. Excellent product and great value for the money!!!

Overall happy with product. I wish they had an angled wall bracket, because my wired doorbell is on side wall so doesn’t record if a person doesn’t come all way up on porch.

Grainy video. Can't pick up a good signal from the router when it's laying next to it. The only troubleshooting is to update my router which is brand new and has a strong signal to my garage door openers which are 4 times farther away. The battery is at 50% after a months use. There are no compatible chimes available for the house. I regrettably bought this to replace my ring because the notification time was terrible. My Q is better at notifications but lacks everywhere else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello. Different devices on a network can use vastly different amounts of data. Factors like device type, usage patterns, and background activities significantly impact data consumption. Your personal device may be able to access a better signal in the same area as the device, but the myQ device may need more signal and is not acquiring enough. There are several ways to improve your Wi-Fi connection for your device, including moving your router closer to your device or purchasing a Wi-Fi extender. If you connect to a 2.4GHz signal, your router can be up to 150ft in distance. To ensure best performance, it is recommended to have your myQ device connected to a 2.4GHz network. Easy install but the app is not up to standard

The camera was an easy install and the video quality is very good, but at this point the app won’t allow me to set a zone. This is happening on all of my MyQ cameras so hopefully they will update the app and fix this problem.

The video is super clear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The setup and installation was quick and I used the battery option. The video is super clear even at night and it picks up motion right away. It’s been raining and it’s still holding up fine. It alerts me when someone’s at the door and I can check everything from my phone. Makes me feel safer and I didn’t have to deal with anything complicated.

I can really see and talk to whoever is out there. I haven’t had to charge it yet and it’s been 2 weeks so far. It has been raining and it hasn’t messed up any functionality of the doorbell camera .
