The doorbell is great but I don’t want my data on a server, but rather on a local SD card, this is not an option

No intuitive illumination.

I have been using Google nest doorbell for a number of years but it recently stopped working. Switched to the myQ video doorbell. It was easy to setup. Have found that with the black front face that the doorbell button feature is difficult to identify even with the porch light on and tried to figure out how to illuminate the led ring around the perimeter of the button to be permanently on, but have not found that is possible. In all the marketing materials, the led light ring that surrounds the perimeter of the button is always glowing a distinct blue. The ring does glow after the button is pushed, but is not intuitively designed to aid users to find or press the button.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Almost great

I was hoping for more. I have the MyQ doorbell, video keypad, garage camera, two indoor cameras, and two outdoor cameras. The chime works well and is easy to setup. I used to have a Ring doorbell and Ring Chime. The Ring chime would go off when someone came onto the porch. This is a feature I was hoping for.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The notifications will only come up in the myQ app as the camera senses any motion sensitivity in its vicinity; however, the chime won't make any sounds or notify you, unless the doorbell button is pressed.
