A modern smart doorbell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] myQ Home Entry Video Doorbell can be optionally installed with a hardwired power supply, connecting to the existing doorbell wiring system (16-24V), so it always has a power source and does not need to be recharged; or with a battery, which is easier, just needs to be installed and charged occasionally. The bell provides 2K video to ensure high definition, with night vision capabilities in color images, allowing for clearer and more detailed facial recognition. Recordings are saved, allowing us to review footage from previous events. We will receive real-time alerts and can view live video via our smartphone.

Easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a ring doorbell so comparing these has been interesting. The video quality is honestly better! The only downfall is having to charge it. I easily put it on my brick with some very sticky Velcro tape. It has held up well in the humidity but is covered from rain. The motion detection is accurate and the notification timely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doorbell cam is great! It was easy to set up, the installation was easy, too. The security screw makes it less likely to fall or be taken. The app gives you a range of options, night view, speaker and microphone. And the sound and video quality is good. The battery lasts days between charges. And it charges in a couple of hours.

Works well as a doorbell and short term video notifications (of you want to stick to free version). Non-wired installation is straightforward, quick and easy . Only downside is if you have siding you will need to get creative with how you hang the device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got my MyQ Video Doorbell in the mail and wanted to share my first thoughts! Out of the box, it looks super sleek and modern definitely a clean design that will blend in nicely by the front door. It’s a bit bigger than I expected, but not in a bad way. It actually feels pretty sturdy and well made. Installation looks like it’s going to be simple and straightforward, which I always appreciate. I haven’t tested the video quality or motion detection yet, but I’m excited to get it set up and see how it performs in real time!

What an upgrade for Ring doorbells
