I purchased the doorbell camera, no instructions were included in the product. I attempted to chat on line, only AI was available, which was absolutely useless.

Can not complete firmware update.

I have been unable to complete a recent firmware update for my doorbell. I have even upgraded my WiFi to have a stronger signal but still can not complete the update.

If your Video Doorbell is blinking purple, it is likely performing a firmware update over Wi-Fi. Firmware updates are installed automatically when needed to help ensure your device continues to perform as expected. During this process, the indicator light may blink purple, and the update can take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. We recommend allowing the device a few extra minutes to finish the update without interruption.

Poor security alert immediate video and talk view

When a visitor presses the doorbell button, the device will sound a chime and send a notification to the account owner, any designated Co-Owners, and any mobile devices currently signed in to the owner's myQ account. The notification will prompt the user to tap and view who is at the door.
Once the notification is received, the account owner has up to 30 seconds to tap the alert and open the myQ app to answer the call. If the call is not answered within that timeframe, the event will be recorded and saved automatically.
For customers with an active video subscription, these recordings can be accessed at any time through the History section of the myQ app.

Doorbell is not charging wired to old doorbell

Doorbell is not charging wired to old doorbell wiring.
The doorbell button the Q operates the doorbell but doesn't charge the battery.
I bought another Q and it has the same issue.
Wires are connected to the back of the door bell. When I test the wires together the doorbell rings
I know they are live.

Purchased and installed my MyQ video Doorbell Camera. Installation (wired) was straightforward and simple. Doorbell and Camera work as advertised, however I cannot review any video events taken by the camera. I have the "Ultimate" Subscription, which covers all 5 of my cameras, and I can review videos in my "History" of 4 cameras, but not my doorbell Camera. Why is this?? This camera records videos but will not let me view them. This is very frustrating, and I would like a solution!! 🙁
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
