I’m not handy at all and I did it myself. Very easy install and I love the integration to the rest of my cameras and garage door opener. The best part of it all is, with the wired install I don’t have to charge like I used to with my previous doorbell battery camera. Camera resolution is good!

Hi Loudean, thank you for your review on the myQ Video Doorbell. Wired installation pairs with your existing chime or you can purchase the myQ Chime (coming soon!)
There are a few things you can try should there be an issue with connecting to your chime box. Confirm that the chime box is connected to power and that the breaker is on. Turn off power to the doorbell, remove it from the mounting bracket, and check the wire connections. Ensure the wires are tightly secured and that no plastic insulation is caught under the screws. If the incorrect chime was selected, change the selection in device settings for chime. We appreciate your feedback and will be shared with our team.
