Your personal device may be able to access a better signal in the same area as the device, but the myQ device may need more signal and is not acquiring enough. There are several ways to improve your Wi-Fi connection for your device, including moving your router closer to your device or purchasing a Wi-Fi extender. If you connect to a 2.4GHz signal, your router can be up to 150ft in distance. To ensure best performance, it is recommended to have your myQ device connected to a 2.4GHz network.
