Nice addition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a nice addition especially with a toddler who constantly drop things and spills. But it does not pick up like chip size objects, they would have to be crumbled. So you if you are looking for something that knocks out your cleaning completely this is not for you. But looking for something to help yes she will work. The charge lasts quite a while, it can mop and vacuum our downstairs and still have 40%. My only con is it is louder than I expected. Not sure why I expected something quieter bc it is a vacuum.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this. It was so easy to set up. Once you map out we're you want it to vacuum it does a very efficient job and will go back to make sure everything was up. It didnt run into anything and even went around my 4 chairs in my dining area and cleaned the corners without getting stuck. I love that I didn't have to touch anything as it went back itself. The mopping feature is excellent and cleaned my kitchen floor very well. It will not get anything else wet. I definitely recommend this to anyone that needs a helping hand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled to try the Shark PowerDetect 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop with NeverTouch Pro Base. While I already own a self-emptying robot vacuum that works great, the Shark’s bagless design and extra features really stood out to me. I gave it a test run in the hallway, and it handled dust and hair on the tile and wood floors perfectly, leaving them beautifully mopped. Mapping and No-Go Zones were much easier to set up compared to my other robot.
What truly impressed me was the dirt detection system, which adjusts suction in dirtier areas when needed, and the fact that it even cleans the mop pad at its base! Navigation is pretty smooth, though like my other vacuum, it occasionally misses the edges. Overall, while both robots perform well, the Shark’s standout features have really impressed me and have made the whole cleaning process more efficient and hassle-free. I do love my other robot, but these features are just too hard to ignore—and I haven’t even covered everything yet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is an absolute game changer! I feel like I have a little cleaning fairy who cleans up at night! The vacuum part works well for crumbs and dog hair! The mopping feature is my favorite. We have LVP floors throughout our home and they have never been cleaner. I love that the machine self cleans itself and communicates with you through the app. Highly recommend this product!
To start, I want to clarify I did NOT receive a free product for this review. I may be the first review left here that wasn't an incentivized reviewer.
I selected this vacuum after lots of research. The specs on this robot really are some major pros. This is the first robot vacuum which actually met all of my desires. First off, the base station does NOT have a disposable bag. Shark is the only brand of robotic vacuum I could find with a bagless base. This is huge since there is a LOT of dog hair in my house and I don't want to continually be buying disposable bags. This robot really doesn't ever get stuck. I have a 150+ year old house and there are several flooring transitions and thresholds which are huge. The transitions are stark enough that I've stubbed my toe on them before. The ability for this unit to extend it's drive wheels to overcome these obstacles means it can successfully transition from room to room. I am impressed with it's ability to navigate these obstacles.
Now for the negatives. I had some issues with the initial setup and I got several errors which prompted me to call customer service. I'm a stubborn guy, so I ignored these prompts and kept pushing through. I learned that you really should let the robot get a full charge before telling it to map, even though it doesn't tell you to do this anywhere. I also learned that the base station needs to be positioned so there's a big open area in front of it. I had it tucked in a bit of a tighter space (which met the requirements listed in the app), but the robot would freak out every time it tried to head out. Moving the base to a more open area fixed this issue.
The app is a bit buggy and missing some key features. I am not able to schedule the robot at all. I see there is a screen, which should allow for very limited scheduling, but there's a bug on this screen that doesn't let you sav a selected time. So, the only way I can schedule things is if I have the robot run at midnight, which I don't want. The scheduling is limited to 1 mission per day, and it must be for the entire house. You can select a vacuum, mop, or vacuum/mop program, but you can't select individual rooms or schedule multiple missions per day. We keep certain doors shut when we're gone to contain our dogs a bit, so I would love to schedule a clean of some rooms during the day while we're out, then other rooms when we're home. This would also help as it would force the robot to empty the dust bin more frequently and it could get a charge in before resuming work. As it stands, it can't vacuum our entire main floor on a single charge. I tried to work around the app by using a google home integration. I figured maybe I could do some scheduling in Google, then Google would send the commands. Unfortunately, that feature is also sorely lacking. It appears that the Google home integration just has a "start" or "stop" options. You can't even choose between vacuuming or mopping, let alone specific rooms. Apparently, my robot interprets the google home integration start as a mop cycle, which is not what I was hoping for.
Overall, the hardware appears great, and it does a good job cleaning. It has kept my floor clean for a few days and I haven't felt the need to pull my manual vacuum out, which we used to do daily. I could overlook the setup challenges I faced and I would say Shark earned a 5 star review if it wasn't for the awful app. Having the hardware that can automatically clean my floor doesn't do me much good if it doesn't ever know to start. Shark must know this is an issue as there are 2 FAQs right in the scheduling section that address these, stating they cannot do multiple missions in a day and they can't do room-specific scheduling. If Shark updates the app to allow for some sort of useful scheduling then I would happily change my review to 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Battery life is surprisingly pretty good for vacuuming and mopping, even has the option to recharge and finish tasks. Maintenance is a breeze since you can see water levels for clean and dirty water. The app will tell you if vacuum bristles need to be cleaned. Suction is pretty good on carpets with pet fur. And noise level is quieter than a blow dryer, emptying itself into the dock or self-cleaning the pad is the most noise you'll hear but not enough to scare my toddlers with autism.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cool appliance. I’ve never owned a robotic vacuum before so getting it setup took a minute to figure out and I do find myself tech savvy. It does a nice job vacuuming little bits. Pretty quiet but once it’s done and back on base it does a drop off I guess that I don’t care for. I do feel expensive when using this.

Amazing product with high efficiency, great cleaning power and low noise level

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product and would definitely give it a five star! It has the following great features: 1. High efficiency. I am living in a 1b1b apartment with many obstacles (furniture) in the room. This bot can complete the cleaning for all rooms within 1 hour and avoid bumping into those things. 2. Great cleaning power. Compared with my hand hold vacuum cleaner, the bot was able to collect more hair and dust. 3. Low noise level. This beyonds my expectation! With a very low noise level, the cleaning bot is still able to maintain a great suction power. We are able to talk normally with this bot working. 4. Great features. I love the obstacle detection feature and the map it automatically generated for our apartment is pretty accurate. 5. One more thing, the App provides all the great feature including scheduled cleaning, cleaning area selection, point cleaning, which is amazing!
