Not impressed with vacuume

I bought this a month ago..I’m still trying to figure out the map and how to label it. The suction on the vacuume is not good at all. There are times that areas are not touched and bypasses rooms..I had it scheduled for 3 days a week Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s. This morning it never started up on its schedule. I have checked the auto empty and hardly any dirt has been picked up from the vacuume.. it kicks it around instead of picking it up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Subpar Disappointment

Bought this item as a gift for my wife. The came on time and as described. We have now used it for 7 months and had no issues for the first few weeks of use. Now the unit will not go i to the base when and if it returns. It often gets stuck and we have to hunt to find it. We have 2 long hair dogs and the vacuum is subpar at picking up the hair. When it actually does run we have to go behind it and pick up clumps of hair it hasn’t vacuumed. This isn’t our first robot vacuum but it is our first and last Shark. We don’t expect perfection by any stretch but our previous robot vacuum by a competitor was FAR SUPERIOR to this disappointment!

I have owned this version the robot vacuums for about 6 months now. It looks nice and vacuums ok. But the mop and base are terribly designed. A step up from some of the previous versions. I use the shark cleaning fluid and there are two line behind the robot on the floor after the mop goes over than never seem to go away, no matter what mop heads I have tried. While you are able to wipe out some of the dirt from the bottom of the base, it does not come apart to actually really clean it. Also, I don’t think the lite stream of air that blows from the base onto the mop pad is really doing anything but making it more acceptable for gems to get on. Everyone knows heat kill germs. So this must of been a rush job to get something new out. The brush that moves back and forth to clean the mop head is not removable, so you are moving the gems back and forth between the cleaner and mop head. I see they now have one that has heat and a dryer. These are things their comparable competitors have had for a while. Save your money and get the new one, or a competitors that already have this stuff figured out for around the same price or cheaper.

Color me impressed this little guy works BEAUTIFULLY! We live on a homestead where I just about always tell people coming to visit “DO NOT TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES!” When they come inside. I have had the Robot for a week now. I have really put it to the test to make sure it will do exactly what I wanted it to. Well… it passed all of my tests!!! I have had name brand robots like this for the last 20 years. This one is by far my favorite one!!!!! The other ones sucked up cords and banged pretty hard it some things. This one doesn’t do all of that. Which is so very nice. I have 4 cats and 1 dog and let me tell you they can get messy. This robot keeps my house amazingly cleaner now. Before I was sweeping every day. I have this robot set on schedule to vacuum and mop. Now I can go do way more exciting things. We have hardwood floors and it does an amazing job keeping the house nice and clean. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Unusable

Unfortunately it just doesn't work. It gets lost, despite having mapped out the home, it somehow can find its way back to the dock and even gets distracted (it'll say its going back to the doc but decides to keep going in circles in a room. It slams into EVERYTHING. And the app just doesn't work. I'm supposed to be able to schedule rooms and times... decides to do its own thing. The buttons are grayed out and won't allow me to control the robot. It goes to the dock and says it'll resume where it left off as soon as its charged... reached 100% and still wouldn't allow me to activate it. Finally, it goes so... miserably slow... drains the battery fast and takes a lifetime to charge up. Should've bought a different robot....

Good but app needs improvements

I think the robot does a good job and everything seems heavy duty but the mapping app needs work. It seems pretty dated and not easily modified.
