freezer shelfs do not fit properly, to lose

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The freezer and some refrigerator shelves do not fit properly, they are to lose! Also, the water dispenser is not easy to use, the lever to dispense the water is too sensitive you have to push on just in the right spot even though it's a long lever
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice Counter Depth Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this side-by-side refrigerator last month and and so far I’m very happy with it. It’s extremely quiet and well lit has plenty room for my grocery needs. The only drawback to it is that the control panel on the front seems a little cheaply made and the water dispenser is slow to dispense water compared to my older refrigerator Beautiful refrigerator overall.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Build quality is garbage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1. Excess expanding foam leaked out of edges where panels are joined.
2. Handle misalign
3. Fit and finish is horrible, big uneven gaps on the control panel at water dispenser.
4. LOUD, long running fan in the freezer.
5. Factory markings on top of the fridge door.
6. Drawers are hard to open, get stuck regularly.
7. Ice dispenser sprays ice everywhere.

This replaced our whirlpool, which was much better built than this fridge. Kitchenaid is overrated, and will not buy again.

Sexy Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is a surprise. I’ll begin by saying a side by side wasn’t my first choice but I could accommodate nothing larger.
It is a bit shallow. If I had been the designer, I’d have cheated the counter depth allowance by a few inches to get slightly more capacity.
However, the refrigerator section is amazing. First, the interior color and lighting is beautiful and sexy. Looks like a nightclub.

The entire door is lined with shelves which makes organizing amazing. The shelves are left for items that truly won’t fit on narrow shelves.
The freezer section however isn’t nearly as well thought out. The shelves are shallow. I bought plastic boxes to help organize the contents. This refrigerator should have come with bins that were made to fit the appliance. And the door shelves are almost useless. They’re so small and being stationary, almost unusable.
The star ratings below are uncertain. I’ve only owned this unit for two weeks. They should ask again in a year!.

Perfect for our space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we like the refrigerator a lot. The counter depth really adds space back a lot more than I expected. The only disappointing thing is the cold water dispenser. The first cup comes out room temperature so if you just want a sip of cold water you’re not going to get it. Even after the first cup it doesn’t come out cold. It’s more just cool.

Attractive looking, hard to live with!

I own a 2 family and live in one apartment. My kitchen is next to my bedroom, and my bed is less than 20 feet from this fridge. It’s so loud, it wakes me all hours of the night with its whirring, buzzing, grinding, and ice dropping. I just bought this fridge, and it’s ruining my sleep. I have to sleep with earplugs in, which I don’t like, because then I can’t hear if my 9 year old has a problem at night. This thing is a danger to my health and my family. Also, the water dispenser is insanely slow! I have never seen such a slow water dispenser in my life! It can take a minute to fill an 8 ounce cup!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
