[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] freezer needs another bin/drawer. temp control only shows setpoints and not the actual temp. did not come with bin for eggs. dispensed water is not chilled. don't like when light goes off after dispensing water or ice. old kitchen aid was by far better, don't like paying more and getting less!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this kitchenaid about one month. My first impression is not very impressed with the quality of the workmanship of the kitchenaid. The door handles were not in line as for the hight.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Upgrade from old KitchenAid side-by-side

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced an older KitchenAid side by side that was close to 20 years old. I really wanted a french door with bottom freezer but I just don't trust anyone's in door ice maker as your going to fight a losing battle with trying to make ice inside the fridge. Regardless, I was really happy with sticking with this side by side and the amount of room I gained over the old model was impressive while being about 1 inch less in depth. So far we haven't run out of ice and we really like the updated platinum interior versus the old white. The only complaint is that this fridge is a bit louder than the older one. Not annoyingly loud, but I notice it. So far, this has been a great upgrade!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful, Quiet Refrigerator with a Few Minor Imp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the KitchenAid KRSC536RPS counter-depth side-by-side refrigerator and overall, I’m very happy with it. The design and finish are excellent — the PrintShield stainless looks premium and truly resists fingerprints. The counter-depth fit gives a clean, built-in look that really elevates the kitchen.
The refrigerator is quiet and consistent, maintaining steady temperatures in both compartments. The LED lighting and interior layout make it easy to organize and find items. I also appreciate the measured water dispenser feature, which is convenient and accurate.
There are a few areas that could use attention. The freezer space feels a bit tight, and the shelving could be slightly more adjustable. The ice maker works, but it tends to produce ice slowly and sometimes the dispenser can be messy or jam slightly. I also needed to have the doors realigned shortly after installation.
Overall, it’s a well-designed, attractive, and reliable appliance that fits beautifully in a modern kitchen. I’d gladly recommend it to others who value quiet performance and a sleek, counter-depth look. A few small refinements to the ice system and door alignment process would make it perfect.

Great features and space!

Having 4 teenagers in the house the ice maker and filtered water is a life saver for all their water bottles. I personally love the side by side freezer and fridge because this option makes it easy to organize and keep clean.

Handsome refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for the same refrigerator that was 18 yo. It was actually still working but it seemed like it was time to make a proactive purchase. This is a great side by side. My complaints are relatively minor. The old refrigerator had the temperature inside and told you the actual temperature of the refrigerator and freezer. The new unit had the temperature on the outside and only tells you the desired temperature. The old model told you how many ounces of water was being dispensed as you were filling the container. The new model has some complicated feature to set a set amount to be dispensed. Not useful to me so I gave up trying to figure out the settings. Lastly, the old unit had several drawers in the freezer; the new one has one and shelves. I find the shelves a messier way to store things. All said, I am very happy with the refrigerator. I just wish that they hadn’t messed with success!
