Great look and design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the fridge and freezer are great. The storage capacity is perfect for just me, with a little extra room for some more if needed. The design is elegant and polished. The inside looks stylish too, with very nice lighting set up and look. I love the measured water fill feature, the temperature control settings for the fridge and freezer, along with the water filter replacement indicator. The only thing I dislike is how loud the ice dispenser is.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am disappointed that the only high shelf where I can keep pitchers is at the top of the refrigerator. This makes it harder to put them in and take them out. I am also unhappy that the size is smaller than the last counter depth side-by-side refrigerator was. I don't see the need for the pull out shelf that has a wooden edge. This seems to give less room and means the high shelf is near the top.
I also wish that there were two drawers in the freezer (as our last refrigerator had) as this helps with organization of foods.

Huge disappointment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *Capacity is very small in comparison to my previous counter depth side-by-side, lay out is not as good, far fewer features. No wine rack, water bottle rack, butter dish, drawers are smaller. Needed to remove the rolling tray due to lack of space for food.
*Makes of noise, almost constantly.
*Condensation on the outside of the freezer near where the ice maker is located, just between the refrigerator and freezer space, it runs down the outside.
*A drawer in freezer would have been better than a bin. There is only one bin, not enough storage.
*Water & ice dispenser tray shape is just plain strange. If it was rectangular shape it wouldn't look like the piece was made wrong.

Top half of shelf freezes food

I purchased this refrigerator in June 2026. I will share the pros and cons of KRSC536RPS.
Pros: Aesthetically is nice. Great lighting, nice gray color on the inside of the fridge. The ice cubes are a small but nice size that fit into water bottles. The exterior of the unit is eye pleasing as well.

Cons: The refrigerator is a bit louder than my previous Samsung. The interior is small, difficult to fit a large -size appetizer tray. The biggest disadvantage of this fridge is the left side of the very top shelf is unusable because anything placed there will freeze. The reason is that this fridge doesn't have separate cooling between the freezer and the fridge. The cold air from the freezer comes into the fridge side through a vent located on that very top shelf. There is a sticker that says do not block the vent however no one tells you that anything placed on that left side of the shelf will freeze. I am a vegetarian, so I need my fridge side to work perfectly since I only eat fresh food. The photos of the fridge show it completely full, side-to side so this is misleading. Buyer beware.

Almost perfect counter depth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Almost perfect side by side counter depth fridge. A little too noisy when making ice, not enough options for adjusting shelves, interior is easily scratchable. Other than those, I'm very happy with the appliance and it's cooling capabilities.

Cooling is efficient. Finish doesn’t show all the fingerprints of older models. Lighting is wonderful!

Another KitchenAid refrigerator Breakdown

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought this same fridge design 14 years ago. Unfortunately had to order another one because of width restrictions. This one’s gear that dispenses ice sheared in half . Poor quality metal casting. Waiting for 3 weeks for a part is unacceptable. Our first fridge was replaced within its first month. Is that the only solution?
