[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow this little machine is amazing! I've been using it every day since I got it and I can't believe how easy it is to use it! I absolutely love it!!! I have a jura super automatic espresso machine and it doesn't make the coffee as tasty as this little DeLonghi machine. The coffee is much stronger in the DeLonghi which came as a surprise to me . I absolutely love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product if you are looking to get into espresso! It is super easy to set and up and use, literally could be drinking an americano within 25 min of opening the box. Having the option for cold brew is great for changing up your coffee routine. This is what I would consider a starting machine, if you are looking for expert level espresso this is not it. The shots pulled are great quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing and compact . It was easy to use and it brews strong coffee . I am a big fan of macchiato so the steam option makes it worth upgrading from my previous coffee machine.

A fun easy to use machine
on May 29, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item free in exchange for my honest review. So far I am really enjoying this machine. I have never had anything other than a little stove top espresso maker that could do several small cups at a time but was somewhat awkward to use, so this is a bit of a treat for me. I think in the past 4 weeks or so since I began using it I've made at least 80 beverages, so I'm comfortable using it and reviewing it. I've used standard coffee grounds and finer espresso grounds equally as often and they both work fine in case you want to make decaf or flavored beverages. One criticism about what's included: It comes with a nice heavy steel and plastic tamper but also comes with a plastic spoon that's perfect for filling the filters and that spoon has a tamper on the end that works perfectly fine. However - it does not come with a steaming pitcher which I badly need since I have nothing similar and I don't need the extra heavy metal tamper. I think they should include the pitcher and not the extra heavy tamper because since this is pressurized you don't really need to tamper it just so, the plastic tamper is fine. I will order a pitcher on Amazon. The machine is attractive (stainless finish), is narrower than our basic Mr Coffee machine, so it doesn't take up too much room but is fairly heavy and seems well built, and it works quickly - a double espresso is ready in less than 30 seconds after pushing the Double Espresso button. It's a bit noisy - the steaming literally hurts my ears, but it's used so briefly I get over it. I think the cold brew is a bit weak, more like iced coffee so I probably won't use that setting much unless I'm in a hurry for iced coffee and don't want to wait until the next day to enjoy cold coffee like you have to if brewing in the fridge. I might also keep some stronger cold brew ice cubes in the freezer to add when I do use this machine for cold brew to make it stronger. The Cold Brew setting does have cool coffee come out and you just add ice - it doesn't come out hot. The Cold Brew setting takes about five minutes for a small 5 fl oz serving but compared to brewing it overnight in the fridge it's a time saver. I like to make cappuccino but I'm having a very hard time getting the milk to steam properly. I rarely get a proper vortex going so my milk is often just heated, not doubling or tripling in volume - so right now this is disappointing but I will continue to try and for me it's not a deal breaker - at least the milk is very hot and the texture is nice. I might have better results when I get my pitcher from Amazon. It takes about 2 minutes from turning the machine on until I have a double cappuccino with steamed milk ready to drink and that includes filling the machine with water and preparing the portafilter with the ground espresso - so start to finish 2 minutes isn't bad at all. The ability to get hot water for tea very quickly is nice - quicker than waiting for my teapot to boil if I only want a cup. In the beginning it was hard to put the portafilter into the proper position - it was stiff and hard to turn but that has loosened up a bit and goes in easily. I also have a hard time getting used grounds (puck) out but have started to whack the cup onto a cutting board and that does the trick. Everything seems well made and it's easy to fill and clean. I just quickly rinse/wash everything after using and it takes less than a minute to tidy up - it's basically just cleaning the tray (if needed) and rinsing the portafilter, the filter that holds the grounds and the little perforated filter inside that filter. I would recommend this machine for novices like me or for people who aren't fussy about their steamed milk and cold brew - I did take one star off for the reasons I mentioned above but I think it's a handy, fun machine and I like it very much. If anything ever happens to it I might upgrade to another machine by DeLonghi or buy this same one if I get the milk steaming properly (it might be user error at this point).

An easy to use espresso machine with a sleek desig

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received the DeLonghi Dedica Duo Espresso Machine, I felt a little intimidated to use it. However, once I unpacked it and started using it, I was very impressed. First of all, it has a sleek design that takes up very little counter space. Second, the step by step instructions had me feeling like a barista in no time. I have tried both the espresso and cold brew setting and love them both. I have already perfected my morning cup of cold brew coffee!

Try Again…great idea
on May 22, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the compact size of it and marketing for a consumer like that is great! The portafilter 'should' be pointed straight at the camera to fully attach. It should also get there wouldn't a lot of force. It was so tight enough I needed to brace the full machine to get it there (which obviously isn't the goal and you run the risk of breaking components). It's on the machine after a roughly 40 degree turn in the photo (instructions and machine specify the 90 degree turn to attach). This is where the clamping starts to feel tight. Typically, once it feels tight you stop and should be safe to use it. Twice at this point I attempted to brew and both times it dropped out of the machine mid pour. A thing to note is that it's very odd there's no Guage for pressure which is fairly customary for all the units I've used (our family owned resturaunts so I've used these machines most of my life). Not a big thing if you have an idea for timing but someone new to it may not love that. The frother is the loudest piece of equipment I've ever heard in a kitchen- it's literally ear piercing. Because the machine is small it does take a bit longer to froth so we are talking 4 minutes of ears ringing.
