We got the owlet cam for our baby. Only wanted the camera and thought it was nice to view everything with an app and not a secondary device. The camera is a pain to connect to WiFi; it will only connect to a basic WiFi not 5G. The notifications also suck when the baby cries, there’s no loud notification sound just a slight ding and absolutely no way to change it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dream Sight is compatible with 2.4GHz, 5GHz, or dual band Wi-Fi routers, whereas Cam 2 was not compatible with 5GHz. Yes to sock NO to cam

I have this cam and the dream sock and the sock we love!! It told us our baby’s heart rate was too high and saved her life.This camera though is a different story. It never stays connected it shows that it’s not connected more than it shows her room. The owlet support is horrible to deal with they just tell you to try the same thing multiple times. If I could go back I’d just buy the sock and get a different monitor.

Love the peaceful to wiggling feature !

We bought this a month after our baby was born and it definitely helped our anxiety 100%. I seriously sleep better knowing my baby girl has a 2nd pair of eyes on her while we sleep.
