The camera quality is great - I have this one and the cam 2, as well as the owlet sock and love utilizing all three for different reasons/spaces. I highly recommend owlet products. They give me and my husband such peace of mind.

We got the owlet cam for our baby. Only wanted the camera and thought it was nice to view everything with an app and not a secondary device. The camera is a pain to connect to WiFi; it will only connect to a basic WiFi not 5G. The notifications also suck when the baby cries, there’s no loud notification sound just a slight ding and absolutely no way to change it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Yes to sock NO to cam

I have this cam and the dream sock and the sock we love!! It told us our baby’s heart rate was too high and saved her life.This camera though is a different story. It never stays connected it shows that it’s not connected more than it shows her room. The owlet support is horrible to deal with they just tell you to try the same thing multiple times. If I could go back I’d just buy the sock and get a different monitor.

I love the option to hear the monitor through your phone even if you're on different apps on your phone or have your screen locked. The temperature notification is a added bonus!

Had very high hopes for the owlet2 dream camera. It came on time, was very easy to install. I even loved the cord cover. App was easy to navigate and use. So why the 1 star? IT DOES NOT WORK! The camera works 1 out of 10 uses. I have to either unplug, restart the app, or just give up. Its lags, doesnt connect, or any other numbers of things. I originally ordered this because I thought it worked with Google. That was another mistake. The dream sock works with google but not the camera. Do yourself a favor and do not buy. It is the biggest headache of a camera ever. Especially for the price.
