Cry detection practically non-existent.

The cry detection on the Dream Sight requires a cry to reach almost 80 dB. That’s the noise level of a vacuum cleaner or traffic standing on the side of an interstate. This should be disclosed! Had we known the cry detection on the dream sight is so much worse than the Cam 2, we would have looked elsewhere. Very disappoint in owlet. If this can be fixed via software, they need to do it ASAP.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This camera has SO many issues.
The main being - it goes in & out at night. So I NEVER know when my baby is crying!!!!

I woke up twice last night to check the monitor, to see that he is crying - but no sound was coming out of my phone (even on the background noise setting)
Absolutely ridiculous.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The video quality is clear and I love that I can check on my baby from my phone, it also shows temperature and humidity in the room and is very helpful for keeping the room right temperature for peaceful sleeps.

High quality camera and convenient monitoring!

I have had three different baby monitors for my first two children and I am expecting my third later this year so we opted to try a nicer one this time and actually mount on the wall. I haven’t decided where the crib will go yet so I haven’t mounted it, but they include everything you will need to mount the camera including cord covers and anchor screws which is so nice! The camera quality is so much better than the ones we’ve had before and the convenience of having the monitor on your phone is a game changer for me. My night stand was getting overrun with monitors since my oldest children are in their own rooms and we are now adding a nursery. You can have multiple cameras connected in the app too so I am highly considering replacing all the cameras now and freeing up my nightstand.

Stylish monitor with priceless peace of mind!

I love how it blends into the room while giving me peace of mind to check on my little one anytime. It provides clear video and a beautiful design with no exposed wires. After trying a couple of different cameras, this camera is the one we went with! It is so worth it and it’s so easy to use.

Wifi and phone screen dependent but great picture quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Owlet Dream Sight is a great option for any current or soon to be parent of a little one. My son is two and a half, and I take care of him at home with my WFH position. We already had a couple monitors set up elsewhere in our home, one in his bedroom and another in the media room, but we were in the market for another to keep tabs on him when he was in his play room as well. The picture quality is excellent and like the other monitors it also has a built in temperature reading. Unlike the other though, it's wifi based and doesn't include a separate monitor screen, both features we prefer in our other two (Bluetooth only and a separate, dedicated monitor so we don't have to leave our phone screens on to see lil dude). Still, for those who don't mind depending on wifi and your phone, it can be a good option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this monitor. It is so compact and sleek and allows for you to place it anywhere. You can set it on a nightstand or table or place it on a wall to look into a crib. It is so small which I love that it is not large and bulky. I love that you can watch through an app on your phone and see your baby wherever you are and that peace of mind. It allows you to always have eyes without an extra monitor to carry around. I also love that you can check the temperature and humidity of the room and also the night vision that makes it so much easier to see. A good camera provides so much peace of mind as a parent and this one it A+
