The machine is well designed and operable. I am rather disappointed that the spin cycles are not very vigorous, and the clothes are rather wet when finished. I appears reliable. I wish I could enhance the final spin to my liking. I am further disappointed that the main wash is "eco wash."
It does have some bells and whistles, that allow me to adjust the time of wash and temp. There are several special cycles that really don't apply to me.

Great machine. My only complaint is I wish they had one a little bigger.

This washer is great, I remember when I was young my family purchased speed queen washer and dryer. we were a family of 12, dad, mom, and 10 kids. I can't remember them ever breaking down. This washer has a lot to live up to and so far I see it lasting a good long time. It is very easy to use. I also like how many selections you have for the loads. I would definitely suggest it to family and friends.

Clean but extra wet clothes

It cleans wash very well however, the spin cycle does not ring enough water out of the clothes leaving the user with several runs through the dryer which is hard on fabrics. I asked the company where I purchased if there was an adjustment to the spin cycle & they were clueless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi, Ddkk. It's great you've enjoyed how well the new washer cleans, but we understand you've noticed the laundry isn't spun out as much as expected. While wash cycles have a set spin speed, these can differ depending on the cycle used. Cycles like Normal/ECO and Heavy Duty have a high spin speed, Perm Press and Bulky have a medium spin speed, and Delicate and Handwash have a low spin speed. However, you can adjust the spin speed of the Spin Only cycle by using the Soil Level key. We'd also check that the washer is level and the load in the tub is balanced, as out-of-balance conditions may limit spin speeds. If we can help with this further, or with any other concerns you might have, reach out to us at 800-552-5475 (Monday to Friday; 8:30 am – 4:00 pm Central Standard Time).

Overall I like the machine, except I had an issue with water flow right from installation. Now waiting for replacement parts, see if it will fix the issue. Also, don't like that you can have the lid closed when you adding cloths and want to see what is going on. I miss this feature on my old machine

Wow. I am in love with my TR7!

I had to replace my much loved and cherished 36 year old Direct Drive top load washer. I knew that nothing on the market besides Speed Queen would work the same, be built to last and offer years of trouble free washing. I was afraid the TR7 would not clean as well at TC5, but it does! It is gentle, whisper quiet and even using Auto Fill....everything is saturated and the results are awesome. Speed Queen is the perfect combo of old school meets modern features. I love that if I want or need, I can add a deep fill...but I am so far happy with Auto Fill. Spin speed is fast, but quiet, and everything in turn is drying faster now. 7 year warranty too. Incredible.
