I have had problems with the rinse cycle if u add a touch to much fabric softener you have to rinse the clothes 2 times to remove softener

We understand you've noticed some concerns with fabric softener not rinsing out, and we'd love to see if we can help with this! If using an Eco cycle (like Normal/Eco) with fabric softener, the User Guide mentions that the Extra Rinse option must be selected. However, this extra rinse shouldn't be needed on other cycles when using fabric softener, besides an Eco cycle. If you've noticed softener not rinsing out on those other cycles, please let our Customer Support know at 800-552-5475 (Monday to Friday; 8:30am – 4:00pm Central Standard Time).

So happy with my new machine! It is very quiet and does a fine job cleaning the laundry. The smart fill sensor adds the correct amount of water every time - I never have to set the load size. The manufacturing is superior to any other machine I've ever owned and the 10 year warranty gives me peace of mind. Most manufacturers design products to last just until the warranty period runs out but it is said that this machine is designed to last far beyond that. I am highly satisfied with my purchase of Speed Queen.

My mom always had a Speed Queen. I should have listened to mom.
My husband wears his company shirts and the deodorant always made marks. No matter what detergent I used the armpits always had spots. This is the athletic polyester collared shirts. I always had to pretreat and scrub by hand. Since getting my new machine, no more pretreat and no more spots. I will always recommend Speed Queen.

Unhappy With So May Features

I just wanted A Speed Queen washer to replace my 19-year-old Speed Queen washer. Instead, I was forced into a technologically advanced eco-friendly machine that cannot do what I want. 1. I am forced to most often use the Heavy Duty cycle since the Normal cycle is "Eco." I want my clothes covered completely in water--ALWAYS, including the rinse! I do not want a spray rinse, I don't care about water consumption, 2. How do you add detergent first if you don't know how much water will be added with Auto Fill? 3.If I don't like the amount of water with Auto Fill, I can't make the machine add more. So, I have given up on Auto Fill. 4. Load size, sometimes medium is too small and large is too big. On my old machine, I could turn the dial halfway between medium and large. 5. From the sound of it, agitation is too slow. 6. Spin cycle is too loud.
Am I old? Yes, I am. Will this machine last 19 years like my last one? I doubt it; it is too technical. But the fact is that Speed Queen washers have a better reputation than any other major company.

Hi, Gam336. We appreciate hearing your feedback, but are saddened to learn you haven't been happy with the features on your new washing machine. The Normal/ECO cycle is designed to conserve water and energy to meet the required regulations, and this conservation is exclusive to this specific cycle. The Heavy Duty cycle would be what we consider the "regular" cycle. Detergent should be measured by the laundry load itself, versus the water level, and we recommend using 1-2 tablespoons of HE detergent for your average to full-sized load. The Auto-Fill load size option is intended to give the right amount of water for the best wash results, especially if there is a load of laundry that falls between medium and large. So Quiet it is hard to believe it is Cleaning

When it is washing it is extremely quite. You only hear a little water sloshing around. Hard to believe it is washing the clothes, BUT THEY COME OUT CLEAN.

Great machine

We had a Samsung that made noise. It wasn’t very old. I didn’t want to replace because it was still in warranty. Basically their warrantee was worth nothing. Anyway. Finally spent the money and got speed queen. Love it. It really gets my clothes clean. Does exactly what it needs to. I’m gonna get the matching dryer next month

I really feel like the clothes are cleaner. With the last 2 (yes 2) washers in less than 20 years - it is a JOY to see the water covering the clothes and water that is actually warm! I was unwilling to spend the money 10 years ago when our last washer quit after 6 years - thinking I will not spend the money for another 6 yr lifespan. Then a couple months ago, I was done with the stinky machine,and low quality wash. I decided to purchase Speed Queen without regard to price.
I would recommend this to a friend!
