My speed queen is the quietest washer I have ever owned. Washes clothes really clean. So far so good.

Replacement for OG Whirlpool!

I swore I would never replace our 1989 Whirlpool washer. Yet here we are.
It has definitely been an adjustment learning how to get OG results from the new generation of washers. With a little online searching I’ve learned some workarounds. Including changing to powdered detergent and some longer cycles. I love the flexibility of this machine, letting me choose what I need for different clothes or towels or bedding. Hoping this SpeedQueen lasts because so far I love it.

I love the lent filter. It keeps 99% of the lent in the filter and not out the vent to the outside.

quiet and cleans well

I have used the washer for a little over a month and I am very pleased with it. The washer is very quiet and does an excellent job removing dirt. I would prefer if the end of cycle signal was a bit louder. I cannot hear it if I am in another room

Worth the investment

Had this about 2 months and love it! It is quiet and cleans clothes so much better than the GE one we had. Also love the mutii-year warranty as Speed Qeen stands behind their products.

Some Repairs Needed

Received the replacement machine for my original 4 year old one that could not be repaired.
Within a month the new machine needed to have the lid lock switch replaced. The repair teck did
not know that had changed the part and replaced it with the older style. This necessitated a second repair
visit to put the upgraded switch (once it was ordered and came in) in the machine. Since then everything seems to be working as it should.
