Personality in a sea of sameness

My second Kickstarter for Peak Design...the first one was the Everyday Backpack v1.
Love the Roller Pro -
- Wheels are smooth and rolls effortlessly on carpet, concrete, tiles, etc. They are also wider than typical roller bags so stability is great, when you zig-zagging in the airport to catch the next flight
- A lot of space inside and love the adjustable cord system that holds everything down
- Draw-bridge open is refershing, easy to get things out without spread out my stuff like a Chinese buffet.
- Only fear I have is how well will the soft exterior hold up when I have to gate check it...time will tell.

I bought the roller pro carry-on suitcase on Kickstarter and received it several weeks ago. I finally had a trip to give it the real world test. It was as good as advertised if not better, I got multiple compliments in likely more sales for peak design. At this point, I have no negative comments or recommendations. It is beautifully designed and functional. Can’t wait to see what peak design comes out with next.

I bought this off Kickstarter. Arrived 2 days before my trip. Perfect timing.
Suitcase itself is on the heavier side so had to buy extra carry on allowance. Incredibly spacious internals. Love that it doesn't open like a book, the main compartment opening is so genius. Handle and wheels were so smooth, hopefully it stays as long as possible.

Best carry-on I have ever owned! The design, finish quality and functionality of this bag are industry leading without question. I've read other reviews. For the low ones, I think you got a bad build, sorry to say. My bag is flawless. I've now used it on 10 trips, given it a proper bit of roughing up in the course of my trips, and this bag still performs and looks great! It even fit (somehow) in the overhead bin of a CRJ, and those are notoriously small. I've been approached by other road warriors in the TSA line who, like me, are always seeing what other people travel with. They are curious and I'm happy to explain some of the great features of this bag. I still own several B&R bags, but I'm pleasantly stunned how amazingly right Peak Design got it with their first bag.

Amazing design

I have used it for 2 trips since I only got it a couple of weeks ago, but I totally love it. The design is super smart: the handle, the main opening, the laptop compartment… are so much better than what you can find in the market. The only thing that I am not so sure about are the wheels: they do not look as sturdy as I expected. Have not had any issue with them, it is just their look and feel.
