Height is 56.3cm

Referring to the review „Be careful with the measurements!“, that claims a height of 58cm.
This is not true. I received the product today. The height is 56.3 cm including the wheels, measured from the floor to the highest point. Still 1.3 cm more than most european airlines allow, but in my experience it should be fine, as long as you don‘t travel the cheap airlines that rely on fining you for oversizes.
I like the product very much and it meets my expectations.

Ingenious, but not a perfect luggage solution

I got this through the Kickstarter and was so excited to use it for my trip to Europe this fall. I usually check my bag, and I'm into minimalist packing. I really wanted this design to solve the problem we've had with small European hotel rooms and my full clamshell bag. The bag is gorgeous, I have no complaints about construction, it is as promised. Just an observation that for use as luggage, the dimensions feel a little off in the main compartment. I use the Peak Design compression packing cubes, and 1 Large and 1 Medium almost fill the bottom...except for an awkward narrow strip of space that is hard to make use of. I haven't been able to decide yet whether it will be more space-efficient to roll up the divider with 3 compartments, which would really seem like a waste, but it's hard to put anything (clothing, flat shoes) behind the divider that fits without bulging. I'm sure more compression cube Jenga will reveal the final limits of the bag as luggage. I will say that I don't see the point of the laptop carry section--that always goes in my personal item. Would have preferred to swap it out for more space in the bag.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Game Changer

I was one of the first to get the Roller Pro and it's lived up to every high expectation I've had so far. First off, it's deceptively small and holds more than it looks like it can. I've been able to maximize the full capacity by keeping my shirts tucked behind the panel and putting all my chargers inside the panel-- no need for a tech pouch. Then the main space can comfortably fit in my clothes for a week plus toiletries and whatever else I want to get in there. At the end of my last two week trip to Greece, I went crazy buying souvenirs/gifts. I was able to expand the suitcase and also add two jars of honey and 1.5 liter of olive oil. It's like a modern day Mary Poppins bag.
Greece has uneven sidewalks, an ungodly amount of stairs, and foot traffic. I couldn't believe this little bag can do this sort of swivel wheel ballet just fine as I walked down the busy tourist area to the metro. Others with their bags had a little more struggle but the Roller Pro handled maneuvering downstairs, stone sidewalks and whatever else Athens has to throw at us with ease.
My last favorite feature was the organization. Everything had a spot and there is no wasted space. I've been using a 45L REI carry in bag for over a decade. I never found a suitable replacement but it was always so basic but durable. It had a front top pocket and main storage area. The Roller Pro is clearly more thoughtful in its design by people who travel. Every nook and cranney serves a purpose and isn't wasted space.
I am someone who does obsess about travel gear and packing smart. The Roller Pro has been a much needed answer to that. I can't believe I'm actually finding reasons to go on trips just to use this bag. When has luggage ever been a driver for adventure? But hey, I'll take any excuse to go see the world!

Used this roller for a 13 day European holiday/river cruise. While perhaps a bit small for such a long duration trip it performed very well. The only critiques keeping it from 5 stars, in my opinion: a bit too small, zippers are difficult to move, handle is a bit looser after the trip. I used packing cubes to make maximum use of the somewhat limited space. I will almost certainly add the XL photo insert to use it form my photo gear.

Best Carry-on bag ev'ah!!

This is honestly an outstanding Roller Bag... the very best I've ever owned!! I have been blessed to travel the world and have used Tumi's and Rollerboard's and just about every other make of carry on. Just received the two Roller Pro bags we ordered at the beginning of the campaign and immediately took them on a trip last week. Most creative carry-on ev'ah! Love the way it packs and has the top open without the usual open book style. Super space saver. The bag is lightweight, incredibly versatile, and does what all the hype said it does. Totally pleased!

Exceeds expectations- as usual

Finally got to take a trip with my new Roller Pro. Unfortunately, it was the best roller bag we had so everyone else got to use it moving throughout the airport and I was left with the one with janky wheels, or the other where the handle nearly breaks off if you put any weight in the case.
The storage capacity was enough for me to travel to San Diego for 5 days. I like the single deep pocket, although I did see some benefits of being able to distinctly separate items between two pockets as done by most traditional carry-on bags.
Didn’t use the front storage (laptop/etc) or inside sleeve storage as I have the Everyday backpack and Everyday Sling bag for the items I need immediate access to throughout the trip. I can see where this would be handy if you didn’t have any other PeakDesign gear - but then again who would do that to themselves.
Love this product like I love everything PeakDesign does.
And, when I did get to roll my RollerPro around, it was exceptionally smooth and felt incredibly sturdy.
Like I said to my wife when I was justifying this purchase - “it’ll be the last Roller bag I’ll ever have to buy.”
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worth the wait

Just received my bag from Kickstarter fullfillment, well it was worth the wait, it works for size, versatility and is just what i needed to retire my old eagle creek carry on. The workmanship, design and innovation is all that was decribed and more. Yes I know there was a lot of negativity about the time to fulfill but to be fair PD have been upfront and communicated often. I really think it has been worth the wait, as i have said to many Peak Design better by design.
