Just took my new Eclipse (dark plum) fabulous color Roller Pro Carry On for a 10-day road trip, couldn't be happier! Main compartment holds my packing cubes perfectly with some shoes/toiletries, tablet fits into the front slot (accessible from both the outside AND the inside, a plus!), bag is SO lightweight unlike my other ones, smooth never-miss wheels, tough performing handle telescope, and the shell held up awesomely!...My husband got the sage one, he loves it too!
I bought this on Kickstarter based in my love of Peak Design bags and I'm glad I did. It's well designed, carries lots of stuff and like all PD products has thoughtful pockets.
I've now traveled three times with my roller pro carry-on since getting it, and I can unequivocally say it's fantastic. It looks great, of course, but it is literally the smoothest. It rolls like a dream, the handle is solid and all of the features make it an absolute pleasure to travel with. If you're all about traveling light and fitting all of your stuff for a week abroad into a carry on, this bag is for you.
I’ve traveled all over the world with the Roller Pro carry-on and it’s been great. My main issue the case is the terrible screeching noise that the hinges make when opening and closing the case. It’s so loud and really unsettling. Please fix this in the next iteration!!
So far, best small suitcase I’ve ever owned. I received it in late August and then went on a two-week road trip to the US SW followed shortly by three weeks in Europe. Neither trip was a one bag trip, but the Peak Design was my primary bag for both. For the flights it was my carry-on and for the car travel in both US and Europe it was my single take-in bag for short hotel stays. Even for longer stays it was a base station. The size, organization and opening style makes it a perfect place to keep valuables, devices and other important items, as well as toiletries and enough clothes for a couple nights. It handled well moving through airports, loading in overhead compartments or navigating tight spaces in some European hotels. If anything it moves too easily as I found out a couple times when setting it down on a slope and having to chase after it. The lid compartment easily handled a 14” MacBook Pro or 13” iPad Pro with keyboard case. Overall I’ve had no issues with the case or support. I got a second one for my wife.
