i'm plotting how to use this on all my trips now and thinking about putting my backpack inside my suitcase just so i can use this for my carry on instead.

Roller Pro for business travel

I am a big fan of Peak Design products and always pack my carry-on bag with their Packing Cubes and Tech Pouch. The only issue I faced was finding a suitable carry-on for transporting my business suit, a couple of dress shirts, and one or two ties. I often had to switch to a larger suitcase to pack them neatly.
Then, I discovered Peak Design's Roller Pro. This suitcase features multiple cords and loops, making it incredibly versatile. By attaching a small loop of string to the center loop inside the case, I can neatly tuck a thin garment bag inside. I use the travel hanger connected to this loop to ensure the garment bag doesn’t shift while in motion.
Now, it makes for a perfect carry-on for my 2- to 3-night business trips, allowing me to avoid the hassle at the check-in counter and baggage claim.

Simply Amazing! Best Roller on the Market!

I backed this on Kickstarter and was among the first to get my hands on it. I've been a longtime fan of Peak Design; I've owned their backpacks, straps, packing cubes, pouches… you name it. This roller is no exception to their high standards. It’s thoughtfully designed and built with the same premium quality I’ve come to expect from the brand.
I honestly don’t know how I lived so long with a traditional clamshell-style suitcase. The way this one opens is a game changer. No more trying to figure out which side to pack what, or dealing with bulky items that don’t quite fit either side. With one large compartment, packing is straightforward. It just works.
My only minor complaint is the drawbridge system. The hooks that hold the tension strings can sometimes get in the way when opening the roller, which occasionally causes the zipper to snag. Similarly, when closing, the strings often end up on the outside and need to be manually tucked in to avoid catching in the zipper. It’s a small annoyance, but worth noting.
Overall, I can’t recommend the Roller Pro enough. After just one trip with it, my wife finally understood why I spent so much on the Roller Pro.

Really well designed, best roller bag I've owned

I've had many different higher end roller bags including Tumi and Away (and my check in is a Rimowa) but hands down, this roller bag is an incredibly designed and thoughtful travel piece. I've only had it for 2 months, but it's already made trips from the US to all over Europe and Asia, and continues to amaze me. The hinge design makes it so much easier to open on the fly, and it can fit a lot more than my other carry on backs.

The best carry-on roller I've ever used.

Got mine through an early Kickstarter pledge. It rolls great - silent on tiles and smooth on concrete and asphalt. Haven't tried it on gravel. It's weatherproof and sturdy, even when expanded. The grips on both sides and the top are handy for carrying the roller up the stairs or swinging it around to ward off assailants and wild animals. The front full-open style access allows for easy packing. The laptop sleeve and EDC pockets are very convenient when you are working on the go.
There's one thing I want Peak Design to do for me. Design a strap that I can attach to this roller, allowing me the option to use it as a backpack.

Perfect for Eurpoe

I bought this as a gift for my husband. I did not expect it to show up before we left for Europe for a few weeks but it arrived a day early and this thing is amazing! The way it rolls is incredible. We rolled it through airports, train stations, across cobblestone, and bumpy pavement and it didn’t feel flimsy or tip over. We stuffed it full of our children’s toys, souvenirs, a couple of rain jackets, and shoes and everything fit and came home in perfect condition. Traveling with my husband can be stressful. I honestly think this roller + the backpack made him a more pleasant traveler. You need to make a full size version and then he will become the ultimate traveler. Ya’ll get a pass this year since he got the roller as a Father’s Day gift. Buuut I need ideas for his birthday!! - Nov ‘26. 🤞🤞

Amazing Carry On

I had my doubts when I saw it. I am happy to say I was pleasantly surprised. Every single aspect of the carry on fulfilled kickstarter expectations. Every nook and cranny has a purpose and I love the way its designed. There is nothing I would change, and I love how convenient every pocket, hook, and opening is for everything I consider taking with me on trips. Every aspect of the carry on feels well made and sturdy.
