Absolutely love this bag

I’ve put the Roller Pro through real-world travel and on-set days, and it’s a standout. As a photographer and frequent flyer, the size is perfect on site for work, it glides through airports as a carry-on, and its design stays discreet everywhere. I also use it for weekends away. Extremely happy with the versatility and solidity, this roller feels built for the long haul. Five stars.

PD Has Outdone Themselves!

Peak Design has utterly redone what people expect in a carry-on bag. The drawbridge opening and carbon fiber are easy to notice, but even mundane things like the wheels are new. You have to touch the bag to appreciate everything that has been put into it - and you will never regret buying one!

Worth the wait

Just received my bag from Kickstarter fullfillment, well it was worth the wait, it works for size, versatility and is just what i needed to retire my old eagle creek carry on. The workmanship, design and innovation is all that was decribed and more. Yes I know there was a lot of negativity about the time to fulfill but to be fair PD have been upfront and communicated often. I really think it has been worth the wait, as i have said to many Peak Design better by design.

Very sleek design

I only have two trips with it so far but my initial impressions are very good. The highlights are the sleek design and high quality feel. My favorite part is the clam shell design.

My new travel best friend

I love my new Roller Pro! Honestly, I love it so much I briefly considered kicking my husband out of bed so I could fall asleep gazing at its perfect wheels. The wait was long, but worth every second. I was so excited when it arrived that I booked a trip within three days—because how could I not take it out on an adventure?
And adventure we did. Most of the time the wheels were so smooth I had to chase it, instead of dragging it around like other carry-ons. It glides so effortlessly I half expect it to win Olympic figure skating gold.
It’s so functional it actually makes me feel dysfunctional. My old luggage is now sulking in the closet, wondering how it was so easily replaced. I can barely remember life before my Roller, and frankly, trying to think back is just painful.

Experience Commaraderie of Peak satisfaction

At PDX waiting to board a flight, a man seated to my right nudged his wife - and referring to my Everyday 20L said, "He has your backpack." Bound for an African safari, hers' was fully loaded with apparel fastened neatly with the strapping system. Her attention passed swiftly to my RollerPro beneath the Everyday backpack: "How do you lite your RollerPro?" She was enthusiastically conversant with the features. talked nonstop about the bag, and reached to feel the texture and the waterproof zippers. She caressed it much as she would a new grandchild.
I won't belabor the features of the bag. This was my Carry-On's maiden flight. The hidden spaces for valuables and cash, access to wallet, credentials and computer (not to mention the full interior) is unparalleled. It is the perfect companion for my 20 or 45L backpack and 65L duffelpack. Deplaning in SFO I recalled prior conversations over our Peak gear with other travelers throughout Asia. This experience of Peak aficionados transcends product satisfaction and loyalty.
This day I had a checked Travelpro rollerbag loaded with stuff for my daughter (the reputed choice in bags of flight crews). That bag's rollers stuck in the elevator gap at SFO. That was a struggle; not the RollerPro with backpack riding on the handle. The Peak RollerPro glided smoothing with ease.
It is a joy to pack, carry and be seen with! Plus -- there seem to be quite a few satisfied Peak family members willing to strike up a friendship wherever strangers abound.

Where is the pass through luggage handle?

The layout of the bag is nice. I got the camera cube, and it fits very snugly in the case. The camera cube is their first one deep enough to stand up standard every day lenses, instead of laying them on their side and wasting lots of space. It’s a great roller in all ways except one important feature. Where is the luggage pass through handle? I travel full time for work, so I have 2 full size suitcases. I’m going to have to get creative I guess. I’m going to try the gear loops, and included gear straps, but this won’t be as secure as a nice, thick pass through handle.

Used this roller for a 13 day European holiday/river cruise. While perhaps a bit small for such a long duration trip it performed very well. The only critiques keeping it from 5 stars, in my opinion: a bit too small, zippers are difficult to move, handle is a bit looser after the trip. I used packing cubes to make maximum use of the somewhat limited space. I will almost certainly add the XL photo insert to use it form my photo gear.
