Really disappointed. I got the newer device and it’s not a strong as the older one. My hair falls immediately after i curl it which wasn’t a problem with the older model. wish I got the older version

Obsessed! It’s so easy to use (I have minimal hair skills and I did a blowout on my first try) and my hair style lasts for a couple days (I have pin straight hair so normally curls fall within a few hours)

WOW. I can't believe it took me so long to make the switch. So easy to use, clearly built with women in mind, all of the attachments are useful, and it works SO well. Frankly I'm blown away by Dyson's technology and innovation. This was my first Dyson product, best believe from here on our whatever Dyson makes I'm in.

I have been growing my hair out and since it’s been long and heavy I have been frustrated with the lack of volume and body. Trying to round brush and blow dry was frustrating and hair really only looked good for 1 day.
Now I curl on wash day, have waves the next day and touch up the ends on day 3 for a blow out look.
The curl ID is worth the upgrade for me- i don’t have to think about how long there is heat on my hair.
There is a slight learning curve, but I watched the videos on the app and picked it up pretty quick.

You know those products that seem incredibly overpriced but once you purchase them, you can't imagine life without them (wireless headphones, the original Dyson dryer)? This is one of them. I waited YEARS to buy this and if I lost it, I'd be driving straight to the store to buy another. It looks like I've had a blow out every time I use it, and I can legitimately be done with it (once my hair is 80% dry) in 10 minutes.

I bought about 3 weeks ago and am disappointed. Advertised developed for most hair types. Mine is fine, straight and jaw length bob. I am only getting flat styles with no volume. The round brush and smoothing brush is for long hair, not mine. I like the dryer portion (quiet and light) and Dyson’s commitment to protecting hair.
