Great litter box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter box is low maintenance. You push the button when you want it to clean. It makes a little noise, but it isn't loud at all. It is durable and easy to use. There isn't any odor, which is one thing I like about this litter box.

Great automatic cat litter box

It does a great job at keeping the litter clean and makes my life a lot easier as well. It helps keep the cat odors down which is great. The only downside is the refills are pretty expensive but if the off brand work just as well then it’s definitely worth it.

Something you can entrust your cats to. Loving it!

A nice litter box!

Great concept, not the right fit for us

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the concept of this self cleaning litter box, but for us, it wasnt a great fit for our house. Previously, we used wood pellets for litter. I felt the crystals dont trap the smell as well, and when the cats track it out of the box, they hurt if you step on them in bare feet. The cost is also more than what we were incurring with our previous litter. For a refill of tray and crystals, it was roughly 4x the cost of the pellet litter for the same time usage. It was nice to not have to scoop daily, and our cats did use it without issue, but for us, it was not the right fit.

Good for taking short trips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install. The cat figured out how to use the box without us having to tell him how the process works. He was definitely curious about the set up and I found him pawing at the crystals a bit one night.
The rake works well at getting the larger clumps out, but sometimes leaves the smaller bits behind. The litter does seem to absorb odor better than the clay litter we were using before.
The self cleaning feature is useful when going on short trips, and I don't have to bother anyone about having to clean anything. I don't even bother cleaning anything either!

Very easy to set up

It works well I was not sure how my cats would like it as they were used to traditional litter but they do like this better. It is so easy to empty and keep clean as well and its not loud at all you barely know it is cleaning.

Good but pricey to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PetSafe self-cleaning litter box system comes with everything needed to get started. The crystal litter produces far less dust than standard litter, but not completely dust free. The unit sits atop of the trays and the plastic lifting cover attaches to the fixed magnets on the cardboard flap. There’s a small separate section in the tray that holds the dirty litter. With that collection area being the size it is, frequent emptying seems likely. It’s pretty quiet and easy to use with the touch of 1 button. I do believe cat owners would find this product convenient, but the cost of the replacement trays is unrealistic for many. If you can afford it, give this box a try! Seems much safer than other models out there.
