Adequate but, WHAT IS THAT NOISE?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dryer works well, but I am extremely worried that the components are not good enough quality to make it last. Why the noise? It is a gas dryer, but the sound of an electrical component initiating and running pops in regularly and has be very worried that it will someday FAIL or Catch FIRE. neither of those is acceptable and a brand new appliance should not make odd noises ever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Known flaw with the lint trap. This thing is a fire hazard. Lint falls off when you pull the lint filter out.

If you like lint, these are your machines!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the matching washer and dryer. They are both adequate. The biggest problem I have with this set of W/D and the set I bought >15 years ago is that both the washer and dryer are not good at getting lint off the clothes. There was a time when washers came with lint catchers but no more. Now the lint stays on the clothes (especially with low water appliances) and they go from washer to dryer with neither machine adequately catching lint. My lint brushes get more use than anything. Please bring back the lint catchers!

Efficient and easy to use

It has a large capacity and an open-flat door which is handy for preventing clothes from falling on the floor as you unload. The dryer controls are easy to understand and use, and the moisture sensing is accurate. Heat distribution appears very even as we do not feel cool or damp areas when taking out dried clothes.
