Better dryer than I thought.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dryer a month or so ago. So far, so good! It has performed to my expectations thus far. It has dried everything from delicates to blankets and sheets perfectly. I love the door that pulls down instead of swinging from the side because it prevents fresh clothing from falling on the floor as it is taking out of the dryer. I find the dryer filter a bit cumbersome because it is so long. There were no instructions as to how to remove it to clean. So it took me quite a while to figure out that it is pulled straight out not up nor any other direction. I have never used a filter like this one. Perhaps that is the biggest issue. There is a lack of instruction with both the Whirlpool washer and dryer that I have. Finally, I found information on the website that was helpful...but there is no manual as such. As I said with the washer review, time will tell if Whirlpool continues to improve quality.

I did not need some of the dryers with all the bells and whistles as honestly, we are drying clothes and a lot of those extra features are not necessary, and more options means more things to break down the road. Love the front load/open design and it's large enough to fit a comforter. Great purchase & price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought in February 2026 and I don't like it. It squeaks. Repairman came but that didn't help. Want buy another one. Cheaply made. What a 2 year old whirlpool washer and I hate it also. Never worked right.
