[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it two weeks ago. Bought a new cord at the same time. Kept shorting out and tripping my breaker box. Had an electrician put a different cord on and it still trips the breaker. Called whirlpool Sat on the phone for over 4 hours being transferred to different departments. gave up called the next day 1 hour wait on the phone. Finally got an appt for them to come out with a two weeks scheduled appt. I was told to hang my clothes until they come. (as I didn't have common sense enough to know to do that if I needed to) I would not buy this product again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great reliable dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Whirlpool 7.0 cu. ft. Electric Dryer with Auto Sensing and Wrinkle Shield has honestly made laundry feel a lot less stressful for me. The size is perfect, it fits big loads without feeling cramped, so I’m not running multiple cycles just to get everything dry.
What I’ve liked most is the Auto Sensing feature. It actually works the way you hope it will. Instead of guessing when things are done, it adjusts the heat and time so the clothes come out dry but not overheated. And the Wrinkle Shield option has saved me more than once when I couldn’t get to the dryer right away. It keeps everything gently moving so I’m not dealing with a pile of wrinkled shirts.
The dryer itself is really easy to use no confusing settings, just straightforward controls that make sense. It’s also quieter than I expected, which is a nice bonus.
If I had to point out anything, it would be that I sometimes wish the Quick Dry setting handled thicker items a little faster. But honestly, that’s a minor thing compared to how well the dryer works overall.
It’s been a reliable, no fuss appliance that does exactly what I need it to, and that’s why I’ve been happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Drys well. Is a little noisy. Had to have a service call because of an intermittent clicking noise. Technician found a loose screw in one of the drum baffles. Issue seems to be corrected.

I love this dryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this dryer a few months and the sensing mode actually works! Have had other dryers that this option never got the clothes dry but this dryer does. My new dryer has many options to make sure those loads with a few bulky items that need more dry time get the time to dry. The “more dry” setting gives an added boost from the normal setting to dry the harder to get dry waist band or thicker item in the load. The towels setting really gets the towels dry. This dryer has all the options I need to get all my laundry dry the first time. I no longer need to set more time on a dryer to get my clothes dry. I am so happy with this dryer.
