Great Machine

Good value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A good value for a medium-sized top loader. I like the look of it, with the glass lid with the soft-close feature, and simple control panel. It’s smaller than my old washer, but seems to handle the same size loads and does a good job cleaning without an full agitator. It fits in my space, but I wish it was a tad shorter so the open lid would clear my upper cabinets. It is noisier than my other washer but nothing I can’t handle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don’t recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right from the start, the machine didn’t work properly. Had repair person look at it, water level wouldn’t adjust, wouldn’t accept cold water. Needed mother board and two other parts.
Had my last Whirlpool machine for 25 years. Very disappointed.

Not Bad, but not great

However, I am a little disappointed in the appearance and dated quality. I did my research and read all the reviews. I knew this machine was slightly smaller than my previous Samsung, but everything I read said it would not be noticeable or make any difference. Well, it is actually smaller in physical SIZE – I thought the sizing was only in relation to the inside. So, it is most definitely noticeable!
What I mean by dated quality is that the controls and the overall appearance look outdated. Whether this leads to a quality issue, I really don't know at this point, but I would guess the quality is lower than Whirlpool's newer models. I also believe the price was inflated. I purchased this as a "Presidents Day" sale. If I had paid the full price I would have returned it.

Great features!
