Great machine but loud!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this machine except it’s really loud. Especially during filling and spin cycles. It cleans clothes well but I can’t believe how loud it is, My last Whirlpool machine was very quiet so I’m surprised. I wish there’s a way to quiet it down since we live in an apartment and I’m worried my neighbors are going to complain lol but otherwise I’m happy with my purchase, great value.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Makes a lot of different sounds like it is really cleaning but only works so-so . I don't think it puts enough water in the tub.

Hello,
We value your time and would like to look into the concerns with your Washer.
Please view the following troubleshooting.
Factors that Extend the Cycle:
Load: Larger, heavier, or bulkier loads require more time for effective washing and rinsing.
Cycle/Options: Specialty settings (e.g., Heavy Duty, Extra Rinse) inherently increase duration.
Water Conditions:
Cold Incoming Water: Heating to the target temperature takes longer, especially for hot or warm cycles.
Low Water Pressure: Increases the time required for the washer to fill.
Unbalanced Load: The washer will pause and spend time trying to redistribute the load.
2. The Impact of Excessive Suds

The most frequent cause of unexpected cycle extensions is too much detergent or using non-HE detergent.

The Problem and Response:
Detergent Misuse: Use only HE detergent and follow exact dosage instructions. Overdosing, even with HE detergent, creates excess suds.
Washer's Correction: Suds compromise rinse and spin efficiency. The washer responds by:
Reducing Spin Speed: To prevent damage or vibration from the cushion effect of suds.
Adding Extra Rinse/Drain Cycles: To wash away the excess detergent, significantly lengthening the cycle.
Dosage Tip: Highly concentrated formulas (4x, 8x like Swash®) require less volume. Use detergent pacs only for appropriate load sizes to avoid overdosing.
3. Water Heating Process

Cycles using heat (Sanitize, Steam, Hot setting) rely on the internal heater.
Extension: The colder the initial household water, the longer the heating phase, which extends the ETR.
Tip: Run the nearest hot water faucet for 30 seconds before starting the washer to purge cold water from the pipes, speeding up the heating time.
4. Load Imbalance Correction

An unevenly distributed load (e.g., a single bulky item) triggers a correction process.
Correction: The washer pauses the spin, adds a small amount of water, and tumbles the load to re-balance it.
Time Added: This can add 10 to 20 minutes or more.
Prevention: Always include counter-balancing items (e.g., towels) when washing single, heavy items.

No Fabric Softner Container

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I would have checked it out more as there is no where to put fabric softner. The lid locks so I can't even add it in. I'm also not a fan of pouring my detergent in before the machine starts to add water.

We are never ever ever, getting another whirlpool
on December 9, 2025

I try not to.leave negative reviews because I know its the norm but oh my goodness, we purchased this model about a month ago and the sensor doesn't fill my machine properly. Our clothes are always coming out of the washer partially dry with spots clearly not being submerged enough. This means purchased clothes are not even getting washed or rinsed properly. The last washer we had was also a whirlpool which is why we stayed with the brand but I am trying to send this piece of junk back for a model that will actually wash my clothes in fully submerged soap water. My husband is in the restaurant business and im in medical. I want our work lives to be washed off of our clothes before putting them on again. Very disappointing. I also learned this particular model doesn't have an option to turn the sensor off, so before you come at me with that - I've already looked. Its also sad that the sales rep told us, "this is the only model that still fills all the way, all the other models have a sensor but won't fill" now I'm stuck with this piece of garbage that doesn't even wash clothes properly. And last, I am not filling the tub with too many clothes. I'm barely filling it to a quarter full especially now that I've realized they're not getting washed!

Hello,
We value your time and would like to look into the concerns with your Washer.
Dry spots after a wash are often normal, caused by high-speed spinning and airflow, especially on items near the top of the drum.
However, improper loading is the main cause of persistent dry spots. Overloading or tightly packing the washer restricts water and detergent circulation, preventing adequate saturation and compromising wash quality.
To ensure optimal performance and minimize dry spots:
Do not overload: Leave a hand's width of space at the top for clothes to tumble.
Load loosely and evenly: Distribute garments to maintain balance and maximize water contact.

Great features. Love removable agitator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 weeks ago and very happy with the performance. I like that it has a removable agitator. This allows better cleaning and keeps cloths in place during spinning so cloths don’t become out of balance. This was the problem I had with my last 2 year old Samsun washer. Only problems. Also took for ever to wash. I hated this wash machine. Love this one so far.
