Whirlpool = Worst Purchase Ever. Avoid at All Cost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer made the walls rattle (they installed it), and returns were denied with invasive questions. Phone lines go unanswered, they don’t respond to emails, the warranty isn’t honored, and the lid lock features don’t work. Zero support. Owned it less than a month. Initiated return within 15 days.

Worst washer I have owned in 40+ years!

FULL DISCLAIMER: Unlike other reviews for Whirlpool, I did NOT receive an incentive so my review is 100% based on my personal experience after receiving this appliance! It is horrible! It is very loud, flimsy, took an hour to run a simple load with no extra soak, spin, rinse, etc. This washer is not worth the money, in my personal opinion and my first-hand experience!

Good but loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washes clothes well but it’s noisy. The initial start-up has several loud clonks in a row, and the water filling is LOUD. If your laundry is not in a room with a door you may want a quieter model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought this washing machine. I like the idea of the removable agitator in case you want to wash a bedspread. The price was very reasonable - discount sale was going on when I purchased it. The only negative point is that when you turn on the machine it makes a loud 2 click sound to indicate it is ready to go. Also, the sound of the washing machine working is more loud than my former LG machine.

Comparison to previously owned units.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer about 2 weeks ago. I don’t like the door locking feature while filling with water. I am fine with it locking once the actual washing cycle begins. I have checked to make sure the washer is level, however, this machine seems to have more internal vibration than my previously owned Maytag. I did not receive an operating manual with the machine. I did find some information on line. It is unclear on where and when to add a liquid detergent to the wash cycle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For what is essentially a basic model, it has good features. The only thing I would change is being able to leave the lid open while the drum fills with water. I prefer to add detergent towards the end of the fill cycle.

A real lemon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the installation, this clothes washer hasn’t worked properly. After several calls, Whirlpool sent a local appliance repairman who said the electronic board needs to be replaced. I haven’t been able to use the washing machine. Whirlpool refuses to replace the machine.
