ENTRY LEVEL MODEL DOES THE JOB

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've washed 10 loads, maybe, and I'm happy with the upgrade from what I had before. Even though this is my 2nd HE washer, I still am not used to the low water level preventing, in my mind, the clothes from churning. Clothes are getting clean, though.

My Cons:
Locking lid that can’t be bypassed, no more kids to worry about. Our family survived 50+ years w/o a lock. Yes, you can unlock it by holding the Start Button, but you can't see it agitating to check if there’s enough water.

Since there’s no softener dispenser, it would be nice to have an indicator light for the rinse cycle. It goes from “wash” to “done”. I did find some Downey Softener Balls online, but they are discontinued, so stock up.
You need to air it out after use, as the lid makes it air-tight.
This is the machine I could afford, and it’s doing the job, but more expensive models would solve my issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is so loud when filling up with water. that I had to call a service guy as I was worried some thing was wrong with it. But was told that is normal sound. My previous washer was also Whirlpool.

Whirlpool too loader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago to replace my front loading machine. I love the ability to take out the agitator to wash my comforters. This machine saves me so much space as well and not having to bend way over to look inside! I’m so happy with it!

I absolutely love the removable agitator option that makes washing blankets, comforters and other large items very easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this washer for about a month now and have had no issues. Would prefer that the display were more detailed insofar as identifying where in the cycle the load is. With the old dial machines (as recently as 7yrs ago!) we were able to tell whether it was washing, rinsing or spinning, which gave us an idea how much longer until completion. This unit has us getting in a lot of extra steps going back and forth checking!
Size of machine is great for handling both sheets and quilts, allowing for fewer wash loads overall. So far, satisfied with purchase.
