Love This Machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want a great cup of Cappuccino, Latte, Macchiato Latte, Espresso.....this is your machine! This is like going to a coffee shop and getting an expensive drink right at home. With the Gran Lattissima you can add just a little froth, hot milk, flat milk also. I made pretty much every variety and every person that tried it like it. It came with a variety of flavors and coffee strengths of pods as well as decaffeinated. And a plus for the environment..the pods are recyclable. There are two cons with this machine (nothing major and nothing to do with the quality of the machine) which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. One is that it is very confusing on how to work the machine with all of the buttons. I watched a few of the videos online and still do not completely understand all of the buttons and the instructions that come with it are not completely clear.. Two, although I know they want the highest quality coffee drink from the machine the pods are a little expensive. But it is less expensive than going to a coffee shop every day! Go buy this machine, you will not be disappointed.

Inconsistent so returned it.

We had ours for just less than a month and was so disappointed we just returned it and bought a different espresso machine. We liked the espresso, but like other reviewers, the milk frothing function was inconsistent. Sometimes it would work then the next time it wouldn’t. We cleaned it over and over to no avail. We went through nespresso customer support, which was great, but it did nothing to prevent the issue with the milk frothing. After talking with someone in the store where we bought our machine, they told us that Nespresso was discontinuing the Original machines. Our experience along with this information lead us to return the machine and get a more traditional espresso machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very pleased customer

I’ve had this machine for a little over a month and I’m very pleased with it. Early on I used it for an event at which we produced about 150 brews in about three hours and had no problems with the machine. At that rate of production the built-in milk frother seemed awkward and we supplemented it with an
Aeroccino 3 that we had available. However, for home or office use I find it works perfectly well and the ability to create a latte or cappuccino at the touch of one button is very nice.

Could be better in lattes/cappuccinos

This is my 3rd nespresso in 14 yrs. My first lasted me 12 yrs because the compressor went out and my other just broke a few months ago, it lasted 10 years. I have 2 of them in 2 kitchens. It is great for making espresso but for latte/cappuccino it isn’t hot. It comes out warm. They need to work in making that unit for making lattes and cappuccino. I got my money worth on these machines.

Good Latte

Got it couple months ago because of the milk frother I couldn’t figure out the size of the milk but check the manual and I asked in the Nespresso store so good to go love my latte every morning everyone in the house enjoy it.

Great Features . . . If Only They Worked!

I bought this 3 years ago and, because of the price, I live with it, reluctantly. Two years ago, I gave up on that clever milk-adding contraption and just make plain old coffee with this maker. Love the original pods, love the tastes, but my next machine will be BASIC

Great Lattes Everyday

I've had this product for about 2 years now and LOVE IT!!! I can make cold or hot coffees/lattes that rival any coffee shop. The machine has worked flawlessly for over 2 years now. Now that I have down how to take care of the Frother it is not as much of a pain as Nespresso makes it to be. Would be glad to write my own maintenance and cleaning vs what Nespresso instruction are.
