Not consistently great

I’ve owned an inissia and pixie machine for years with the milk frothing pitchers and I love them so much. I’ve even converted other people to Nespresso machines when they came to my house for coffee. When my inissia died before Black Friday I decided it was time to treat myself to a new machine and I decided to upgrade (so I thought). I read reviews and watched videos debating between this and the creatista which was on sale for a similar price around that time. I picked this because I thought it would be more convenient, but I’d honestly rather use my old machine if I could than this. I really wish I tried the creatista instead. It’s not consistent. Sometimes you get milk out of the frother and sometimes it’s just hot water, you don’t get a great froth like the pitchers, the coffee is not hot enough, you don’t have as much cup size adjustment as with my old machine and it says you need to descale it’s so quickly. I don’t feel like it’s a consistently good machine. I find myself drinking more from my husband’s keurig now then my own machine and that makes me sad because my Nespresso was the best part of my day and I bought lots of capsules, but now I feel disappointed.

Easy to use for a busy family!

Don't waster your money!

Dont waste your money! Nothing but issues, leaking water and the frother is useless, I have wasted $$ on capsules ruined after watery milk if and when it works. Spent hours on video calls, machine returned twice, hard to believe they performed any repairs, spend 10-15mins trying to get the milk to froth every morning is truly frustrating, been through the usual, full milk, shake the milk - descale every 2 mths rinse after every use. So disappinting as love the coffee, better off with a cheap espresso machine and stand alone frother frother

The best espresso — quickly, easily, and no mess

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been making myself lattes for years, but this is my first ever Nespresso machine. I love making my drinks the old fashioned way, but this machine is soooo much quicker, cleaner, and easier. We switched to the Gran Lattissima because my fiance was always too intimidated to use my old machine. I also love that when other people are visiting, they are able to make their own drinks rather than wait for me to wake up or get home to make them one. This thing can be used by anybody to make the perfect coffee drinks.
This thing is gorgeous. It looks so high class and so simplistically elegant. I love walking in to the kitchen and seeing this beauty on the counter. It makes me smile every time. The design is super modern and looks like Apple made an espresso machine.
It can make any kind of drink that you want. While I personally prefer to drink lattes almost all the time, this machine can do so much more. It has 9 different recipes that can all be customized and dont require anything more than clicking a button.
It makes the perfect espresso every single time. With my manual espresso machine I was always having to adjust the settings for each unique brand and roast of coffee bean. This meant that I was only getting the perfect pour after I had perfected the settings for my newest roast (and I love trying new roasts.) With this machine, I can try all kinds of new pods and every single one of them comes out with a beautiful color and rich creamy top.
Nespresso is more environmentally friendly than I had realized. At first I was hesitant to get this machine because I hated the idea of throwing pods in the trash after every coffee. I was sold when I found out about their recycling program. When you order your pods, make sure you opt in to receive a free recycling bag. You can put all your used pods in it and get free shipping to send them back to Nespresso to be properly recycled.
Overall I have been super impressed with the Gran Lattissima. I never thought I would get rid of my manual espresso machine and I cant believe that I am now excited to do just that. This machine makes just as good of coffee and removes 100% of the hassle and mess that I am used to. I have already recommended it to my friends and I definitely recommend it to anyone else that is looking for a great espresso with no effort or skills required.

This Machine Is Very Fancy!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine really makes me feel like I'm in a coffee shop!! The packaging was done extremely well. Everything had its own spot in the box and the box even has a handle. The machine is very compact. It does have a little bit of weight to it but it's not super heavy and is about what you would expect.
I really love the design!! It has a fancy, modern look to it and it is super easy to set up. I ran water through the machine to flush it like the instructions said, before using it.
The touch panel is easy to use and looks really sleek! I barely have to touch the icons, which I love!! The machine came with pods so I was able to dive right in and try flavors I've never had before.
It heats up super fast!! Traditional coffee machines take a little while longer to heat up the water but the Gran Lattissima heats up instantly, which blows my mind!!! I grabbed a pod, placed it in its compartment, and pressed the "Lungo" function. Almost immediately, fresh hot coffee came out, smelling so good and rich.
The taste was great and the whole process was super easy!! After I was done, I opened the pod compartment and the pod dropped into the disposal compartment. I love that feature and really feel like all coffee, latte, frappe, etc., lovers will really enjoy this machine. It is state of the art, easy to use, and makes you feel like a barista!!

Morning cup!

Disappointed

I bought this for myself and was really excited for my first nespresso, figured I’d go big. I was hugely disappointed by how difficult/confusing it was to operate. The machines milk frother drips/shoots all over the place and makes a mess, the cup size adjustments do not work properly, and the taste of the coffee was way off. I immediately returned it because for the price my expectations were not met. Big disappointment.

Milk frother is terrible, pick a lattissima one!

I purchased the machine on November 21st. From the start the milk frother has been trouble. It’s dumping tons of water, then 90% of the time there is no foam and you end up with a watery latte no matter what you picked. I’m currently on hold with customer server I’ve to exchange with a lattissima one. We have that machine already and it’s a dapper little thing that makes a perfect cappuccino every single time.
