This is the ultimate non-espresso coffee machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am incredibly impressed with this machine! I generally drink coffee from my aeropress or home brewed cold brew. I am the only one who drinks coffee at home, so I have tried to use a Kuerig twice- the original model and again when they released the one with the “strong” brew option- and was so underwhelmed by the weak coffee and hated having to choose between cleaning those little reusable pods or creating a ton of waste from single use pods. I just don’t drink enough coffee to make a full pot with a normal drip coffee machine. I’ve had an espresso machine, but the mess and the inconsistency made it more trouble than it was worth. My electric French press and pour over coffee maker both made good coffee, but they were very time consuming, annoying to clean, and always had a lot of sediment at the bottom of the cup.
This coffee maker solves all of those problems! The reusable filter is super easy to clean, but you can also use paper filters (I got the kind that come in a paper box so no plastic waste!)
The reusable filter does allow for some sediment, but metal mesh filters always do and, again, you have the option to use paper instead. You can make a cup as small as 5oz or as large as 20 oz, or use the carafe if you like to enjoy multiple cups of coffee a day or have more than one person who will be drinking coffee.

If you opt to use mugs or travel cups, there is a flip down shelf to lessen the splatter for short cups, but you can also fit a venti hot tumbler or noninsulated cold tumbler from the ‘big coffee chain’ directly on the hot plate, which conveniently doesn’t turn on if you have chosen a single serve setting.
The Gold setting brews a very good cup of strong coffee, even at the 5oz setting.
The iced-coffee setting brews an extra strong cup meant to be brewed directly over ice, which dilutes it to a perfect strength. I was very impressed with how strong and flavorful the iced coffee was, as someone who is often underwhelmed by iced coffees compared to cold brew or iced espresso.
The cold brew setting is more of a slow, “very warm” brew, so there is a bit more bitterness than traditional cold brew. But there is just no way to make a good, true cold brew so quickly and this is a great substitute for the real thing- very concentrated and quite good once it’s been diluted with milk. I have tried other fast “cold brew” options and this is the best by far, and the only one that wasn’t poured directly down the drain for being so weak and unbalanced.
Aside from the quality of the coffee itself , is the thoughtful design of the coffee machine.
The water reservoir has a little handle that makes it super easy to fill at the sink and the filter means I can skip using filtered water.
As far as aesthetics go- it is a nice black and stainless steel machine that looks great on the counter and I love the modern shape of the carafe.
Lastly, everything can be cleaned in the dishwasher and I only had to flush the coffee make one time and there was no plastic taste to the coffee like I usually deal with when I first use any other machine that pulls water through it.
I’m very excited to have an option I will look forward to drinking that is SO much easier than my aeropress or having to brew and strain cold brew every couple of days!

Different sizes of cup are also available which is very new and unique. You can also dispense only hot water to make green tea or just for hot water only. It has freshness indicator which let you know if the coffee is fresh or not. Three sensors closely monitor temperatures through the brewing process which gives coffee at perfect temperature. Very innovative. I love it. A must have for all coffee drinkers!

Perfect for coffee lovers

It has multiple brew modes such as cold brew, golden and bold which is good for people with different coffee preferences. It came with all the accessories such as few coffee filters, measuring cup and carafe. I look forward to using this coffee machine daily!

Makes great coffee, but has an annoying beep!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the MultiServe KF9270 Drip Coffee Maker from Braun for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. The coffee maker is easy to use after reading the manual, which is necessary because there are so many modes and buttons! One annoying thing is the beeping when it’s turned on and when the coffee is done, it’s loud and there seems to be no way to turn it off (not a deal breaker for me though) The overall look of the coffee maker is very aesthetically pleasing with a stainless steel and black appearance and is the same size of most of my kitchen appliances! Makes a great cup of coffee whether you’re making a full pot or just a single cup! I also love that it has a timer and I can set up my coffee to be already made in the morning when I wake up!

STRONG BOLD FLAVOR in an easy to use machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Braun MultiServe Plus Coffee Maker free to review just as I was looking to replace my old one. This replaced another brand I had, known for its convenience; but the coffee was always mediocre. This made my coffee- COFFEE again! The strong coffee flavor is so rich and delicious with this new coffee machine. There are options for over ice, cold brew, standard gold cup, or bold flavor. It comes with EVERYTHING; including a reusable permanent filter and filter basket that can both be washed, and paper filters for cold brew. It also comes with a filter for the water tank and a beautiful glass coffee pot. Also included is a dual-sized scooper for the actual coffee, with instructions/suggestions on how much coffee should be used. It has 7 size options! Perfect to make coffee for just yourself, to take on the go in a larger travel mug, or to make coffee for the whole house. This would be perfect for the office too! It’s not just the flavor of the drip coffee that makes this machine amazing; but it also has an auto start schedule option. I set up the schedule and had my coffee waiting for me when I got out of the shower. I thought I’d be annoyed without pods; but the ease of this machine makes my old one seem complicated. I just dump the coffee from the filter the same way I’d toss the pod; but this is less harmful to the environment. The flavor and strength of the coffee itself in the same size cup as my old machine, is really making me say WOW! I forgot what I was missing with a REAL drip coffee machine. If you’re on the market for a new machine and are on the fence about switching brands - just DO IT! Your tastebuds will thank you! I can’t recommend this coffee machine enough!

The iced coffee is the best it makes a very delish iced coffee . Very easy to clean and I like that it came with extra filters. Very high quality coffee machine extra extra recommended
