Meh, not our cup of espresso

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not super impressed, but I’m unsure I’m the intended target? I really wanted to love this, even though I’m not a fan of pod devices. I researched to see if there was a refillable option and came up short. So that was a first ding for me. Then when I realized if I wanted more than an espresso, that I would have to bust out my kettle, I was over it fast.
Yes, there are coffee options, but even those felt light to me. Though, to be honest, my husband and I like large dose coffee, so maybe WE are the real problem. No matter what, I was having to use our kettle, which we love, but felt like an extra step to counter machine. We use a French press, usually and this just didn’t feel like an upgrade at all.
We’ve had an expresso machine before, and liked the idea of just adding water from it as needed, but everything I read and did showed that that wasn’t an option. Just not what we are looking for in a coffee/espresso making device.

Great tasting coffee

I have not purchased any coffee because i love using my machine and exploring the various types of pods . Coffee taste great works very quick . Its easy to click and button .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 1st Nespresso Vertuo Coffee maker, I was very excited to get choosen to receive 1, just by looking at the box it looks fancy, its design is beautiful, compact and lightweight and small enough to fit in any kitchen /bar
This Nespresso machine was very easy to operate I really didnt need any instructions is very explanatory, just take it out of the box fill the water tank. plug it in, add the pod and at the touch of a button your coffee comes out with a smooth cream on top, I love the fact that it offers several coffee varieties and you can either enjoy a cup of coffee or on espresso

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this. The coffee tastes amazing. Almost as if someone made this for me from an espresso machine. This isn't an ordinary quick cup of coffee. You can really taste the espress. There are also so many flavors to choose from. I already ordered the limited edition pistachio flavor! This does not take the usual cup, you must get a specialized pod for this. More companies carry them for Virtuo. This cup of coffee is not for the weak. It has a built in water tank and gives you two inches of foam as a finish for each cup you make. Now, the only caviat is that this beautiful machine is a little on the louder side. But if you can put up with the whirling sound for two minutes, I promise you wont regret it. The fun/cool thing about this is that each pod tells the Virtuo how much water to give the pod you insert. Pro tip: If you double click the button it, the button on top changes into a teal color and you get expert mode (half the amount of water). I would absolutely repurchase! This is absolutely worth every penny!

Tasty but limited

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was dusty and dirty when I unpacked it, but it cleaned really easily. I'm not an espresso officionado so I'm not sure what I'm drinking and what's different with each espresso that I drink, but they are smooth and tasty. One thing that bums me out is the lack of flavor options. Nespresso wants to focus on coffee, so if I wanted to make a tea or hot chocolate for the kids, I have to use my older coffee maker or something else. I would love it if they'd expand, but since this pod is newer, there aren't a lot of other options other than Starbucks or Nespresso.

Nice for small kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Nespresso machine. I was thrilled to receive it and give it a try as I never drink espresso. This vertuo next is a nice size for a small kitchen like mine. The materials seem pretty solid and I love the color in dark grey. After doing the initial rinse through the machine it seems pretty easy to maintain. It is a little loud, but that doesn’t bother me. The only problem I have is that it doesn’t get as hot as other machines so if you add any cream you will need to heat up your cup. Overall it is a good machine so far. Interesting that the machine senses the pod in it to know the amount of water to use.

Classic Nespresso quality, easy to use, easy to clean, and that amazing Nespresso rich taste! Love this machine and it’s the perfect size! Also loving the iced and other creative drink options it offers!
