I absolutely love my VertuoPlus! Was nervous I wouldn’t know how to make good coffee but Nespresso makes it super easy and my coffee is amazing! Better than Starbucks! Can’t recommend it enough!!

Started leaking water within 3 days.

I got this machine delivered on Friday, used it two times over the weekend and on Sunday the water started leaking from under the machine not near the water tank… under the machine. I tried making a cup of coffee just to see what would happen (&tbh because I needed coffee) & the water just started to leak faster.
I called customer service and they’re replacing it, will update my review then.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great machine

I have been using the Nespresso machines since 2003. Have had many different models and have been pleased with all. When I travel I take Essenza Mini Nespresso machines with me. I currently have both type capsule machines in my kitchen. Both of my kids were given a Vertuo machine to take to college and they use it everyday. We are all using the Nespresso machine made by Breville now and could not be happier.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Machine did not work.

Very disappointed as always wanted one. Machine did not pair or go thru the first clean cycle. I returned as I was not calling an 800 number on day 1.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Brian, thank you for your review. We are dismayed to learn the VertuoPlus did not meet your expectations. We would like to note, our VertuoPlus machines is not Bluetooth compatible, and will not be able to connect to WiFi, and connect to your smart device. We recommend running a priming cycle once a week through your machine, to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. If you need assistance with your Essenza Mini, please do not hesitate to contact us through our toll-free number, 800-562-1465. Each machine comes with at least a one-year warranty and lifetime troubleshooting assistance.

Cheap machine breaks down in less than a year.

I received this as a gift and it really does make awesome coffee, but the machine is cheap and does not last long. I have maintained this machine meticulously, following the maintenance schedule as presented in the manual. I descale with the Nespresso descaling kit every 90 days.
However, now the machine is stuck in the need for descaling mode (red & green light around button) for a few weeks now and no matter what I do, it will not resolve.
there is no real way to contact Nespresso support, I guess they assume you will just buy a new machine, even if the machine is only 9 months old. No, I refuse to support a company that will not standby their product, especially one that is not inexpensive and is quite expensive for a cup of coffee all things considered.
We recently bought 2 machines as gifts for friends, we will buy something else for them and ask that we have the Nespresso's back so we can return them. Very Embarrassing. Pathetic company to make us do this.
