Plagued with troubles

When it works, it is a great machine. But we have had two irreparably break in a three year time, so I do not recommend this model.

The BEST coffee

Makes my cold mornings lovely

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’v had an original Nespresso pixie for 10 years, loved it to its slow pump demise. I upgraded to the new VirtuoPlus last month knowing hot coffee weather was coming, love it. Normally I have one full cup of coffee in the morning but I love that this machine has different sizes for double espresso too. The main selling factor for me was the moveable water tank since this machine is much bigger than my old pixie, I had to make it fit in the same smaller space since my counter space is limited.

Great easy coffee

I had my nespresso machine for around 8 year. I lived it, its quick to make a coffee however if you want a latte or a cappuccino, you need to buy extras. I also found it quite expensive to buy the pods as you would need to buy atleast 50 pods at a time. Nespresso do however always have an offer on for buying pods. So take advantage of the offers.

Disappointed coffee dreams

I was super excited to have purchased this machine. And now I’m so disappointed and feel I wasted my money. My coffee is luke warm at best. I don’t think the quality of this product matches the price point.

Thank you for your review. This state-of-the-art machine is designed to brew each blend to the specific programmed temperature that is best-suited to that blend, as defined by Nespresso Coffee Experts. Quality is very important to us, so the coffee brews to its ideal temperature without burning. Please bear in mind that added cold milk can decrease the temperature of the drink. Our Aeroccinos warm the milk and are designed to not exceed a certain heat level to avoid scorching.
We have some tips to help prepare a hotter beverage to increase your overall enjoyment:
1. Use hot water to preheat the cup to keep the coffee hotter longer.
2. Make sure the size of cup you are using matches the size of the blend. A small espresso poured into a large mug, for example, will cool down very quickly.
3. Clean the brew unit by following these steps: eject the capsule, close and lock the machine, and press the button 3 times rapidly. The cleaning process will take up to 5 minutes and will dispense water from the machine in stops and starts. We recommend doing this weekly for the best maintenance.
4. Descale the machine. Scale build-up can interfere with proper heating, and can also affect the taste and brew time of the coffee. We recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first.
If you have followed all of these tips, and the coffee still does not seem hot enough, please call us for further assistance. The Vertuo Next machine comes with a one-year warranty and we're happy to offer lifetime troubleshooting support.
