Design issue, requires excessive cleaning

I would recommend not buying this model (Vertuo Next). Have had it for 2 years, and I find myself avoiding making coffee at home because there’s maybe a 50% chance it will work and I don’t want to deal with it. Even deep cleaning it only delays the issue for a short while. And this has always been the case basically since day 1. We have the normal Vertuo at work and that thing is a workhorse and never has any issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend the first time use steps at least once a week as part of your machine maintenance, to flush water through your machine and rinse away any coffee granule buildup. Your Vertuo Next machine comes with a one-year warranty and a lifetime of troubleshooting via our toll-free number 800-562-1465. If troubleshooting is unsuccessful, we have repair and replacement options available via our Assistance Service Program, even when your machine is out of warranty.

The best coffee in the world from my home !

I have had my coffee system for almost 2 weeks and I absolutely love it!! It truly is the best cup of coffee I have ever had, I also got the frother and I love it as well! I mean it’s so easy to use and works great! I actually am having the best cafe latte in the world I made in my home!! Thank you for such a spectacular coffee experience!!! And your customer service was looking like I would not have any coffee for Thanksgiving weekend and you guys somehow managed to get me my coffee capsule order in a few days instead of a week ! You have no idea how happy you make me!! Thank you for everything, happy holidays!! Your awesome!!

Horrible

I am about to be on my third nespresso machine, two of which were the Next within two years. Shelling out money to go with a different style vertuo machine. I would stay far away from the Next and spend the extra money on a different machine
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use but pricey

This coffee maker is good but the coffee is pretty expensive. It’s very easy to use - I think it’s perfect for a rental or vacation home, but not for an everyday coffee maker. It’s difficult to clean and expensive.

Good coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently upgraded from a keurig and my husband loves this I bought it for him it was a little confusing setting up and it’s pretty loud but other than that makes good coffee. Also the design where the cable is located is a little inconvenient, you have the option to have the water tank to the side or back but when you move it to the side it pushes the cord to the front which I though was a little weird
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stopped Working

I found a deal I couldn't resist on this machine and thought it would be great to brew my own exotic coffee at home. It was alright for the first 6 months and then it stopped working. I attempted to trouble shoot, but just gave up. Also, capsules are very expensive and there are only few places that sell them. I am just sticking with my keurig that I've had for 10+ years.
