[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Nespresso for Christmas, and I couldn’t be more satisfied! The pod choices are wonderful and multi-dimensional. I can choose to have a smoothe or a bold cup each morning. The machine is completely intuitive and so simple to use. I’ll be a Nespresso consumer for a very long time.
The machine lasted me a year and 2 months. Conveniently when the year warranty finished. Before warranty ran out it was working ok. Had to “troubleshoot” often to make sure it worked By that they meant unplugging and replugging. Save yourself the hassle. Don’t use this one. Nespresso didn’t care one bit their machine sucked. Purchased Oct 2022 and fully stopped working Jan 2024
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I struggled with how many stars to give this machine - 4 or 5 - because of the placement of the water tank. First off, it’s more solid than other models, and it brews a hotter cup than my old Nespresso machine did. And, of course, it can brew the large mug-sized pods, which is a huge plus for me.
The downside is the tank in the back. I know this model is designed to be slim, but there’s a real inconvenience in the take behind the machine. I miss a side-fill tank, to be honest. With a rear-fill tank, you have to pull the machine out every time, just to take off and replace the tank. I’m also not a fan of the top of the water tank, which can easily fall into the tank by accident. Why have they given up a hinged top? That was a good design idea, and having this loose bit of crescent-shaped plastic is very poor design.
Because of the rear-fill tank, there’s nowhere to put the long cord, and it winds up akimbo and ugly looking. Why can’t companies come up with ways to neatly store the cord? With that sticking out the back, and the cup rest sticking out of the front, the machine is *very* deep - you’ll need 19” of depth. If I had known this, I would have opted for another model. Still, I love the giant pods.
