Would not buy it again

Replaced my large Nespresso machine with this smaller one 6 weeks ago. However, it is very disappointing. It doesn’t automatically adjust for pod size and the machine itself is flimsy. I have to open and close the top while holding it with the other hand, otherwise it fall over. Not what I expected from Nespresso.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Well made, but hard to close

Got this machine for Christmas gift. Stopped working several times due to build up around sensor. Also, This is not a good choice if you have weak hands because the locking mechanism is hard to close.

Still love Nespresso after 10 years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased to replace a 10 year old machine. We liked that it could fill a carafe and that the footprint was smaller than our original Vertuo. Ultimately, we disliked it was too tall to fully open under our cabinets (at normal height) and it was much harder to close/lock the top than our Vertuo original. It also pushed out much further then expected on the counter due to water tank in back which is also smaller than the Vertuo so it needs refilling more. And the used pod holder is also much smaller - and filled with water/condensation? We decided to exchange and go back to the Vertuo style. A major dislike with the new machine is extra branding on the drip tray (Breville white color/font) in addition to Nespresso in silver/black on top (which is tasteful). Nespresso's partnership with other manufacturing companies should not mean the original dressy design gets bumper sticker'd with more branding. Its like putting a bumper sticker on a high end car - tacky!

Small but mighty!

Now that I’ve been using this for about a week now I am pleasantly surprised with this machine. Def recommend going online and finding drink recipes as well as reading the manual so you’re using the machine properly. I haven’t been to Starbies since receiving it!

Great coffee, great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this when our standard coffee maker broke. My daughter loves her machine so I thought I’d give it a try. The machine is so easy to use and everyone in the house can enjoy their specific coffee (rather than making a pot that appealed primarily to one person). It’s been fun to try different coffees and find which I prefer. Overall, it’s fun, easy and great tasting!

If you can buy used to try it first; go for it

I own this machine since December 2021 after replacing a different nespresso machine that I owned for 3 years. This machine leaks. Like others, I have experience the orange ring and overheating issues. I would not recommend this. The level to turn on the machine can get tricky at times. I did purchase yet another machine- different style. I hope third time is a charm!

Too temperamental

Machine is easy to use, but way too temperamental. Also, the coffee does not come out warm enough. You have to put it in the microwave after brewing it. Not in love with most of the flavors they have either. Ours leaks. On the positive side, their customer support is saying they will replace our unit since it is still under warranty.
