Faulty model

First one broke in 3 months (stopped recognizing pods). A replacement was sent that had the same problem within 6 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Taste good but three in a row have died in 3 years

The coffee tastes great while the machine is working. I’ve gone through three of these machines over the last 3 years, they last a little bit and then the dreaded double orange flash which means an internal electrical fault. I’ve followed all directions and babied the machine. My 3rd machine just went toes up today. I’m regrettably tossing my vertuo pods and going with another manufacturer. Can’t afford to replace them yearly.

Just ok

Have owned a Nespresso Vertuo Next since 2020. Since then I have had my machine replaced twice. I use the machine twice a day so it was heavily used, but both just stopped working one day. To the credit of Nespresso, they helped me through troubleshooting, and when that didn't work they were quick to replace my machine. After the second one I had to switch Nespresso models. This one did the job, but there are better models out there. Shoutout to the Nespresso CS team!

Good Enough for Daily Espresso

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a brew open up the top, there are some drip down, making a small mess. Also flush volume is larger than a normal cup...a bit inconvience.
Beside that ALL good for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not the quality I expect from Nespresso

This machine falls far short of the quality I have come to expect from Nespresso. When I first purchased it, I was disappointed in the unit as compared to my Vertuo Plus (which I sadly gifted). Overall, it felt cheap and was really loud, but I thought the smaller footprint would compensate. After owning two of them, I now know that I was definitely wrong. My first one failed and I nor the Nespresso techs could figure out the issue, nor would the machine connect to the net for any diagnostics. Nespresso graciously sent me a replacement and now that has failed. Very much like the first. Some days it works, some days not. I never know if I'll get a cup. It has gotten to the point where I pulled out an old drip machine so I'd have a backup - and I've used it quite a bit. My advice...spend a little more on one of the higher quality models as it will be worth it in the long run.

HARD PASS

I got this machine 2 years ago and after 1 year it stopped working where the button just stopped working. But before that it was already getting impossible to lock where I kept wasting my pods to try to lock it or get the button to work. They sent me a replacement of the same machine...now its been a year and I am again having the SAME issue with the locking mechanism. I hurt my hands trying to close the machine, I follow all the cleaning steps and run the cleaning cycle frequently as well. But you have to use all your strength to close it, which leads me to the fact that my parents are elderly and are unable to use it due to force you need to use to close the machine. I called again, they wanted to do a video troubleshooting again, and want to resend me the SAME MACHINE. This machine should not even be on the market anymore, I see it on sale at those discount stores all time.. gee I wonder why. I wanted to love Nespresso but honestly at this point, I would skip Nespresso altogether and just buy an actual espresso machine. Sure its convenient but this machine is not worth the trouble.

Love my machines

I see so many reviews that are low and need to add something positive. I am on my 3 machines, started with the original, Citiz and then moved to the Vertuo Chrome and now own the Vertuo Next. All my mechanics are still going with regular use. I moved the Citiz to the office and gave my first Vertuo to my mom. I now use the Next every day, I clean and descale regularly, and use only filtered water. I hope more long-time users add comments to bring up the rating. I have been a Nespresso customer for more than a decade.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Leaks like crazy! Overpriced coffee pods!!

I received this machine for my birthday and have been using it for 2 weeks now. Each day I come to a new puddle of water all over my counter leaking from the machine. The coffee is good, but very expensive so it adds up if you drink one cup or more a day. The leak seems to be a common problem with these so it’s crazy they haven’t figured it out. Not to mention if the price of the pods weren’t over a dollar each it would be more appealing. I’m glad I got it as a gift and didn’t pay for it because the whole thing is quite a hassle. From not being able to buy the pods in stores, to the leaking, the not being able to get bigger than a 7.7 oz cup of coffee. Pretty wild business model if you ask me. Nespresso could do better for sure
