2 machines in less than a year

We received our first machine in February of 2021 and it started leaking and eventually stopped working in June 2021. We received and started using our second one in September of 2021. It started leaking by November 2021. Definitely plan on getting a refund and switching to the original as I still love the nespresso coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I wanted to switch from my trued and trusted Nespresso CitiZ to a Vertuo machine (had a cup of coffee on a Vertuo machine and loved it). I loved the look of the Next and I had been so happy with my small but mighty CitiZ, I talked myself into not believing all the bad reviews. Big mistake, turns out they were all right. The machine starting having issues about 6 weeks after purchase. At times it would send all the coffee into the empty pod receptacle. Other times it would simply not work (it would make noise as if it was starting to work and then it would abruptly stop). Other times it would randomly leak. It's been so, so frustrating. Also, the coffee is not hot enough. I loved the thought of having the option to switch between espresso and a large cup of coffee but this machine has been a waste of money and an endless source of aggravation. I regret giving away my CitiZ and I am trying Vertuo Plus next, fingers crossed...

Garbage. Noisy. Leaking. Dead in 3 weeks.

Bought the limited-edition teal vertuo next to replace my vertuo plus I've had for over 3 years. I was excited for the larger carafe size and the wife was excited to take the old one to work. Sadly, I've had nothing but issues with the machine and now it is completely dead. 1. The water basin is very flimsy, and the lid doesn't pressure fit like the next does. I didn't break it, but I feel like that could definitely be in someone else's future. 2. Starting with the maiden voyage, it sounded like an electric chainsaw. Easily twice as loud as the plus. I thought to myself, wow, it is unfortunate that the large pour-over style pods sound so loud in the machine. Then I tried a coffee sized pod and it was just as loud. 3. Leaky. I can't figure out where the water is coming from - except that it isn't from the basin connection. This guy leaks ounces of water with every run. During the 3 weeks I tried to deal with it I kept dish towel next to it that needed replaced every 1-2 uses. 4. Quit spinning up. The machine stopped trying to read pods. It would go through start up but pressing the button to start the machine didn't do anything. tried multiple pods but it just sat there. 5. Died. While on a call with support (who thought it was in need of a descaling), the machine refused to go into maintenance mode (not sure that's what it is called, pressed the button 5x) and then never turned back on after unplugging and plugging it again. 6. Support would only replace the machine with a non-limited-edition version, so I've been forced to return it.

Vertuo Next is very noisy.

I bought the unit 3 weeks ago and from first use it has been making a very loud noise as it brews the coffee. Before the Vertuo Next I had a Vertuo Plus and the plus is significantly quieter but much more expensive. My advise is to pay for the more expensive machine unless u don’t mind a very loud coffee machine.

I have had two of these machines in the last 12 months. Both have just stopped working randomly, and they leak.

I don't even know where to begin. Got this last Christmas and it worked great until it didn't. Called customer service and they replaced it about 6 months ago. Then the second one stopped working. We have had company for the holidays with no coffee because this machine cant consistently work. We have done everything we're supposed to. Clean it, descale, you name it. This machine needs to be discontinued.
