STAY AWAY, AWFUL

Received for a gift. I was so excited. The coffee is delicious. However I would never wish this headache of a machine to be given even to the worst people. It's just awful. Started leaking a couple weeks after using it. The ONE button doesn't work 1/4 of the time. Constantly leaks all over counter. It will dump half the tank for a 1 shot of espresso. Such a waste of money if you aren't standing in front of it. And I've gone through about 200 pods. Spend your money on a different one. This one just sucks.

Please do better

I have a brand new vertuo next I have never been able to used that doesn't work😭. I purchased it a few years ago but didn't use it as my Nepresso Plus was still going strong. Now I'm out and have to decide on a new machine. Unfortunately it wont be nepresso. Please do better

Cheap and Loud

We have been nespresso members since 2017 and this purchase made for our third vertuo style machine. It is absolute crap. Our older machine was in good working order, but we were interested in the larger 18 oz coffee pod capability. Dont buy into this gimmick .
Our first two machines were much higher quality and produced much smoother pours. This machine is loud, clunky, and the parts move very heavily with some effort. The pour is never consistent and will occasionally refuse to extract for no apparent reason, causing multiple pods to be wasted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible machine and design

This is one of their worst machines. It’s designed as if it was the first model made. It’s manual you have to turn the level to open and you have to push down and turn the lever to close. It’s loud and it broken about a month after I purchased it. Don’t buy this machine.

We’ve been through a few of these after several returns. It constantly has problems or stops working altogether. Now, it makes only small size coffees and doesn’t work for larger ones.

Stopped working after 2 weeks

This machine stopped working after two weeks. It had a solid light and no troubleshooting made it work. It’s hilarious what is written on the nespresso website for this issue and it seems that this issue is quite prevalent and without an obvious root cause besides being a defective machine in general with a high failure rate. Vertuo is great except not the VertuoNEXT. Get any other model. I returned mine and got the VertuoPLUS instead (which is a much better design anyways).

3rd Machine in 10 months :(

While I love the Nespresso coffee....I'm on my 3rd machine since December 2020. My original first machine lasted 5 months. The replacement machine sent by Nespresso only lasted 1 month. Now on to my 3rd machine and it too stopped working after a month and a half. All 3 machines have had a similar issue - - flashing orange light, inability to make coffee, leaking in to the capsule reserve. I would love to continue to be a Nespresso customer but it's getting exhausting having to get replacements every few months.
