Disappointed with the quality of coffee. There is no froth and the coffee tastes like drip coffee and extremely watered down. Will not recommend this machine.

Good Coffee, until it stops functioning

I bought this machine two years ago. About two weeks ago it stopped functioning. When I pressed the button (solid white light) the machine whirred for a while, then stopped with a flashing orange light. I tried cleaning it; same problem. Then I descaled the machine, following Nespresso's instructions; again no luck. I have since read many reviews of various Nespresso machines, many of which commented on the Vertuo Next's reliability problems.

Machine will break

Garbage product

This has to be the worst purchase I've ever made. The machine stopped working within 2 months and when I asked for my money back, the agent was like lets do troubleshot. You seriously think I have not done all of that. Please do not buy this, you will regret.

Defective model

This model of Nespresso has many issues. I had my machine for less than a month and it stopped working. I would not recommend.

THE WORST TRASH EVER

After 4 months, the machine was just brewing a random amount regardless of the barcode information of the pod or it just didn't brew at all. Plus, random color LED indication (yellow, pink, grey, white, purple.....) with random intensities. After struggling for a month with this garbage, I was about to throw it away but for somewhat reason, it suddenly came back to normal, so I kept using it. After another 6 months, this machine is totally crazy right now. When I plug it, it only shows yellow, weak red, or off-LED with repetitive 3 consecutive short vibrations. Who designed this machine to have only a single button for all the operations?? If you cannot make it work, at least place the reset button somewhere in the machine. This machine is ruining my life and is total garbage. Don't buy it.

Good flavor, bad value, poor product support

I’m a long time customer that’s purchased at least 4 Nespresso machines, 3 are Virtuo. All 3 Virtuo machines could brew me a 14 oz coffee. Now none of them can. It’s because I can’t get 14 oz capsules. Nespresso discontinued the Alto supply. Those machines don’t even make a good boat anchor if you want a large cup of coffee. So, I must order smaller capsules more frequently at significantly higher cost. I presume that was the plan of the CFO. Machine quality is not great but they may replace one if it completely fails. Orders can take over a week to deliver (I’m less than 2 hours drive from Chicago). Unless I really watch the sleeve count so I order over a week in advance, I have to go buy ground coffee to make a pot. Again, it’s added hassle and cost. I am ready to invest in a proper coffee machine which will provide me with comparable flavor at a far lower long-term cost.
