DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL!!!

I really love the look of this machine but it doesn't last unfortunately! My first one only last about 10 months and my second one, about 6. Customer service is sending me the evoluo model so let's hope this one works for years! Great support though for my last machine with their video chat.

We’re happy to see you were able to speak with a Machine Expert and arranged to receive a replacement machine. Please allow us to provide some user tips that may help.

For best maintenance for your replacement Evoluo machine, we recommend to always eject the used capsule after every use, run the Clean Cycle once a week to eliminate coffee grounds build up within the brew unit, and descale your machine every three months. All removable spare parts, including the water tank, should be washed by hand at least once a week.

Descaling too complicated

Love the coffee but the descaling process is too complicated. This may go on the shelf if every 3 months have to do this

I bought this machine 2 years, and jut now it stopped working. I would not recommend this machine due to it's life spin. it was nice while it lasted

Please don’t buy this machine!

This machine breaks down in one way or another for most customers within a year. I love Nespresso as a brand but this machine in particular is awful. Skip it for one of their other models!

If troubleshooting is unsuccessful, we have repair and replacement options available via our Assistance Service Program, even after your machine is out of warranty. As part of your machine maintenance, we recommend doing the first-time use steps without a capsule once a week, to flush water through the machine, which will rinse away any coffee granule buildup from the head of the machine. Good coffee just stops working

I received as a gift last Christmas and I have had nothing but issues with it. When it works it is very good coffee, it is just very difficult to troubleshoot and it constantly needs to be cleaned. The last descale I did with the solution did not work. It still lights up to be descaled and I went over the process several times. The store suggested you tube instructions but my boyfriend and I still can’t get it to work. Very disappointing for a machine I had under a year. Way too complicated just to get a cup of coffee.

Looks Great but Doesn’t Work

I went through 3 (or was it 4?) of these (to Nespresso’s credit, each failed machine was promptly replaced after calling). One lasted about a year, another less than a week…one was only days. I finally asked if I could just buy the original vertuo model instead of getting it replaced yet again. They actually replaced my Next with my preferred model and I’ve been happy. The only reason I purchased a Next in the first place is that my original Vertuo was beginning to sound like a 727 taking off (so loud!), and I liked the design and WiFi feature of Next. Just don’t do it. Stick with the solid original Vertuo model. Nespresso is a great company to work with—don’t go through 3rd party vendors for replacement.
