Great coffee but pick another machine

We purchased our first vertuo next machine and it didn’t work from the beginning. Customer service was amazing and we were able to get a new machine and send the other back. I wrote a review saying how much I loved this machine…. 3 months down the road this machine stopped working. We trouble shot with an expert, again. This was after trouble shooting, on our own, for several days. Because our machine is still under warranty they’re going to replace it. We will NOT get the next model this time. Clearly something is off on the parts end. It’s nearly the same issue that our other machine started off with. We recommend vertuo but we do not recommend the next model. Bummer that we have several carafe sleeves which will only work with the next model.

Please please do not buy!

I have had this machine for a month and already it has stopped working. None of the troubleshooting fixed whatever issue. Customer service was excellent to work with though. They offered to exchange the machine for another one free of charge and giving me a shipping label to return this one. It's sad bc I got the teal/rose gold one and it is absolutely beautiful, but it lasted no time.

Do not recommend

I bought this machine about 4 months ago and it’s beginning to malfunction every time I go to brew a cup it flashes orange k have descaled and cleaned the machine numerous times I have to perform a descaling procedure almost daily to be able to brew my coffee
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not buy

I received this as a gift in January. The machine stopped working after making approximately 5 coffees. The light blinks orange and machine just stops working. I had tried all the troubleshooting. Then it wouldn’t turn on the next time I tried to get it working. Nespresso gave me a real hard time on the phone. I was so upset with them I needed to hang up. It was a terrible experience and I am stuck with a machine that worked for 5 brews. I had found other people have had the same experience as me. Google all the reviews before purchasing this machine. Awful design.

Horrible

For your sake, please don’t bother with this machine. I bought my Next in December of 2021 and had to get it replaced within 2 months because it stopped working properly. Received the replacement in February and it stopped working in April. Luckily customer service was very understanding and they are sending me a different model. Hopefully 3rd time’s the charm. This machine is absolutely horrible, and I am just one of thousands who have complained about it. For the price it should last more than 2 months. I hope Nespresso will recall or discontinue this product.

Faulty

I’ve had this machine for awhile now and have multiple issues. It leaks from under the machines like a puddle of water and water pours out the spout after I open after making a coffee. Also pretty much every morning I go to turn it on and wait for it to warm up and it gets to a certain point makes a clicking sound and flashes orange so then I have to unplug and wait it’s such a pain. I clean it regularly and have descaled it twice after having for a little over a year. So it’s obviously just a faulty product and you can tell by the other reviews.

Dont Even Bother!!

After 3 years, initial vertuo plus machine broke down so I was advised to try this machine. Within a month, it stopped working and would not even turn on. Called to order a replacement machine and they sent a new machine. Within 3-4wks, the replacement machine also stopped turning on altogether! Luckily, the Nespresso rep was able to help out and recommend the evoluo so that it what I am waiting on now.

Loved it when it worked

I bought this machine and almost immediately had problems. It would stop working at least twice a week, and I wound up returning it within a month because it just completely stopped functioning. The machine wouldn't pull water from the tank and would constantly have problems. This machine also is noisy and very clunky. Would it pull a nice shot of espresso? Absolutely. But the amount of work I would go through fixing this machine was not worth it (especially for the price). I am probably going to buy the Vertuo Plus in hopes of a better experience! The Next just seems to have too many mechanical issues.
